Lucky's Bar & Westown Place

Westown/Luckys are a conjoined pair of bars on Midland St. Luckys has karaoke pretty much every night in my experience; the quality of that, of course, varies by how much the participants have to drink...

Westown, however, is a "performance" bar. There is a stage where musical acts come to play. Usually its a local/regional band, but of late they've managed to attract some international acts, namely Seven Nations and Gaelic Storm.

The staff is also very accomodating. When at the Gaelic Storm performance, they didn't actually have hard cider in stock at the Westown, but they did at Lucky's - the staff actually went through the effort of going next door for our drinks. Very good service, indeed.

PROS: Good performace location
CONS: Karaoke ;)
