3 Stars: good service (by jun q.)

their service is good, and the person works there are really acknowledgeble. They can solve most of your problem in a really short period. The price is reasonable, normally it is cheaper than your manufacture repairment. It also give you reasonable warranty after the fix depends on the service you requires. it is fast and good service.

4 Stars: Knowledgable and Honest (and helpful too!) (by Courtney V.)

I have to commend CM's staff for their honesty, their knowledge of computers, and their willingness to help me (two-fold reasons).

They were extremely honest in that they told me up front that my computer (which was ancient) might not be worth fixing, but that they would examine it, provide an estimate for each option, and let me decide what to do with it.

They did exactly that, and it was determined that the motherboard had been "fried" during a power surge; it shouldn't have happened, as I had it on a surge strip, but I'd had an upgrade done by a private party and he'd jumpered something incorrectly.

They provided me with a statement of exactly what was wrong for my insurance company, if I chose to submit it.

The second portion of the helpfulness for which I must commend them: I was backed-into while attempting to pull out of their lot. An employee saw what happened, called the police, and sat with me (I was very shaken as the woman in front of me was screaming as if it was my fault; never mind she'd thrown her car in reverse and hit the gas hard enough to send me from a stop 8' backwards!) until my roommates arrived to get me. There was no major damage done to my car, but the actions of this company's employees reflect extremely well on them. They didn't have to make sure I was alright, give the police a statement, or call friends to get me!

4 Stars: good reliable service (by Kristina R.)

I've brought three different computers into Computer Medic for repairs. Their staff is knowledgeable. Turnaround time is usually within their estiamted timeframe, but there was one time where they were running later than scheduled and that was frustrating. This last time, though, they were running ahead of schedule. their staff is also always honest about what kind of a repair is needed and whether or not that will fix the problem long term or only temporarily. I won't hesitate to go back. i do wish their hours were a little longer.
