I agree Brookmeadow Apartmetns is by far the worst place i have ever lived. If u have kids or u want ANY company this is not the place.I pay 600 a month and feel as if i live in my parents basement. The apartments are falling apart and if fixed they are rigged up.From falling blinds to bathtubs that dont hold water to not being able to watch the news at 6pm at a normal level. This is the WORST and has the Worst managment. Also to include they lie and go on here say from other residents in which there is no proof. And yes Randy is not helpful and VERY rude and would also never recommend these apartments to anyone.

BEWARE!!! - after you move in to Brookmeadow apartments they will not fix anything - and they will raise your rent after you move in. I would not recommend this place to anybody.

After seeing the model apartment, I was expecting a lot more than what I got. The carpet was in bad condition (stained, worn) and the windows had plastic chipping on the inside (from the faux panes). There were even cigarette butts in my NONSMOKING apartment the first day I moved in. A pipe burst in our bathroom and they were pretty good about getting a plumber to come in the next day, but we had wet carpet for almost a week, even with the fan blowing on it. The hallway always smelled like cat urine/feces because of our neighbors. Having a garage and 1.5 bathrooms (for 2 br) were the only nice features in my opinion. They need to do some updating, including to the tacky-looking balconies. My last gripe is that they require you to pay a cleaning fee before you move in and I could tell it had not been cleaned!! I had no major problems with the office staff and never met the manager. I lived here two years ago and decided I would rather live downtown and have cheaper rent! I think the same company operates Brookmeadow and Wimbledon and I liked my friend's Wim. apartment better! I also had major issues with Comcast while living here, but that's a whole other story...

Definitely very dirty. Apartments are very poorly kept up. Brookmeadow Apartments is also under poor management - manager is not very helpful or understanding..if anything he is incompassionate and rude. If you have any issues concerning your personal life, the apartment upkeep or with rent - don't even bother wasting your breath with him - he will not reason with you and does not care to. Would honestly not recommend these apartments to anyone.

My wife and I moved here just before we got married. There was a problem with the heat and we had the maintenance come and "fix" it five or six times. The heat would stay on when the outside temperature was over 90 deg. they finally had a heating and cooling company fix it when winter finally rolled around. There are a ton of other problems with the apartments that we have asked to get fixed but never happens. The lining in the bath tub is peeling off, the windows get stuck open, when closed the windows leak on mold grows around them, and more. the maintenance crew can fix closet doors and window coverings but that's about it. Look elsewhere is my advice.

We looked into Brookmeadow when apartment hunting because we liked the location-close to the mall and 44th street. The employees were great, showing us the apartment model. However, the rent prices were high and close to what we now pay for our mortgage(1400 sq ft house in Jenison). The apartments seemed clean and nicely updated.
