Kroger

Kroger's in Frankenmuth is an adequately clean, reasonably priced grocery store. The staff is knowledgeable and pretty friendly. I rate them as only satisfactory because they don't offer many of the "extras" that other grocery stores do. They have a bakery, but it looks like they don't actually "bake" much there, and there's not much of a selection. The produce selection is pretty good, but the quality isn't consistent. For instance, I've often seen strawberries there that are mouldy at the bottom of the package, and broccoli that is starting to turn. Likewise, the avocados are usually far too overripe. But generally, this is a good, basic grocery store where you won't get overpriced for the basic items.

PROS: good basic store and prices
CONS: not many "extras"
