Blaga's Bridal

I had a very easy time shopping for my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses at Blaga's Bridal. I fell in love with the second Maggie Sottero dress I tried on. They rushed it in for me because my vegas wedding was only 13 weeks away. They finished the alterations lightning quick and it looked great especially the french bustle. I had 3 bridesmaids which wore different Belsoie dresses that my friends loved. Their dresses and alterations were very affordable. We had quick, friendly service from Blaga's.

I was looking for a beautiful dress but I was on a tight budget. I fell in love with a Sottero and Midgley dress online for half the price that the salons were charging. Only after I received it in the mail, did I realized my mistake. I received a cheap imitation dress and just wasted 4 months of time and $800. I started over shopping for a wedding gown and found an awesome Casablanca from Blaga's Bridal. I received the new dress just in the nick time. And I'm very grateful that the associates at Blaga's Bridal turned a nightmare into a dream come true. I recommend shopping at Blaga's Bridal. And some sage advice for brides looking to purchase online, if its too good to be true, it definitely is. I suggest avoiding the online scammers.

I bought my dress from David's with much regret. David's "altered it" by giving me a crooked hem, ugly bustle and a sliding bodice because the top was still too big. After much heartache at David's, I decided to have it altered again to fix all the problems. I called many bridal salons but no one wanted to help because my wedding was one week away except for Blaga's. After I switched to a lower heel shoes, Blaga redid the hem, redesigned the bustle to show the beautiful appliqu and took in the side seams on the top. In two days she worked a miracle. I highly recommend Blaga's Bridal.

I would definitely recommend Blaga's Bridal. I wore the maggie sottero dress hampton. Awesome dress, I can't wait to get it back from the preservation company. Blaga did the alterations to perfection. It wasn't easy I'm very short and there was alot of fabric to hem but it was beautiful when the alterations were finished. The bridesmaid dresses were so affordable there too. My girls wore different belsoie dresses. I price shopped and the sales that Blaga's offered beat everyone else.

My wedding was last weekend and I felt beautiful in my wedding dress. I had the Maggie Sottero dress Victoriana and I got a lot of compliments on it. I bought the dress from Blagas Bridal and they were wonderful. I must of tried on the sample 10 times before I ordered it and they were very patient with me, never pushy. They alterations were fantastic. The bustle was beautiful. Blaga even made cap sleeves to match the bodice. From the first time I tried on the sample to the day I picked up the dress, the experience with them was awesome. I would highly recommend Blagas Bridal.

I ordered a bridesmaid dress at Blaga's Bridal 9 months ago, and still haven't received it. They claimed that they forgot to order it when I initially paid my deposit, and promised that they would have it in for me in another 4 months. I have called several times, and they assure me that the dress will arrive. Well, another 5 months have also passed, and still no dress. It is now only a month until my sister's wedding. I think I will have to make my own dress to wear! Blaga's is not professional, and very unreliable.

I recommend shopping at Blaga's Bridal!!!
I only had 1 month to plan our wedding because my husband was being deployed to Iraq. I must of tried on 10 dresses and didn't find one that I loved until Blaga recommended a beautiful Maggie Sottero gown. I instantly fell in love with it. Blaga quickly called Maggie to check stock for my size and luckily they had one in size 6. One week later, my dress arrived and Blaga altered it perfectly. The bustle was so beautiful, it was my favorite part of the dress. Blaga was so nice and patient with me. Her alterations were perfect and very affordable. I would recommend going to Blaga's Bridal.

After putting the other dress on hold at the first store I called around to see if they had it in a smaller size, the first one was a 16! Way too large for me. Blagas had a smaller size so I went with my mom the following day to try it on. It was early Thursday morning and we were the only ones there. Blaga and her assistant helped us. I tried on about 12 more dresses to make sure that was the one I wanted. I found it strange that Blaga would help you try the dresses on in the fitting room.
The store is smaller but they seem to have an ok selection. My dress was a sample so I did not need to order it. I just needed some loose beads fixed and it cleaned. The beads were fixed no problem, though when it was supposed to be done it wasnt and I had to wait 3 more weeks for it. Not too much of a big deal because my wedding was still far away.
I didnt not ask about alterations, I only will need a hem and can get that done cheaper elsewhere.

When I stood up for my cousin's wedding, she had found a very pretty dress here that was very reasonably priced for her bridesmaids.

Unfortunately, anything over a size 12 is considered a PLUS size, and tacks on an extra $50 for extra material. Alterations also cost extra.

When I was measured, the woman told me I needed a certain size. When the dress arrived, it was HUGE and needed tons of alterations. I was sure that she had ordered the wrong size or measured wrong. The saleswoman insisted that I had lost 4 inches in my waist in the 4 weeks since she had measured me. Would have been nice, but I really doubt that I had.

I had to go in several times for alterations and almost every time I went in, it had to be taken in more. My final cost was double what the original dress price was and I still had a bit of trouble with the top of the dress fitting right.

PROS: Good selection, good prices
CONS: Costs get expensive, alterations were an issue

This is a very nice place to buy a wedding gown, bridemaids or Mother of Bride dresses. They also have prom dresses. They have all kinds of accessories to go with the occasion. The store is small but they have a great selection. They try very hard to satisfy you in every way and they do a very good job at it. If you need any alterations they are done very good.
