Video To Go

I've rented from Video To Go approximately four times due to the other video stores not carrying the movies I'm looking for. Each time I've rented movies from them, I've not been able to watch them to their full extent due to large scratches on the DVDs they rent out. These include: Lion King 1 1/2, Lion King, Teen Titans (Seasons 1-5), Clash of the Titans, Jason and the Argonauts, Little World, Finding Nemo, Waking Ned Devine, and Driving Miss Daisy. The last time I rented from them on the night of 4/29/09, I asked the woman at the counter to please check the DVDs for scratches. She checked Lion King 1 1/2 but did not check the others, though she told me she did. I took the DVDs home, and to my non surprise, none of them worked. If you're looking for DVDs that actually work and are readable, don't go here. Obviously, someone in this business doesn't know how to check for scratched/nonworking items.

They have the best selection of foreign films I have ever seen. The staff is always very helpful in finding your selection and the checkout is usually very quick, however their computer system must not be very easy to manage, since they cannot seem to separate me from another person with the same last name who has late fees they expect me to pay.

great video rental place. Huge collection of videos. Thousands of titles. I think its collection is about 5-10 times larger than local blockbusters and Hollywood video stores. And much cheaper than Blockbuster, Hollywood video. You can rent at as low as 5titles/$6 for an entire week!

This video store is unlike the chain stores like blockbuster, the have a incredibly huge coillection. If its not here you are probably not going to be able to find it in a video store. They have alot of rare and harder to find vhs and dvd's. Also the staff are very friendly and their recomendations are always helpful.

PROS: Huge selection. Prices alot better than blockbuster.
CONS:

I absolutely love Video To Go, and it has everything to do with their selection. They have all the latest new releases that you'd expect from any video store, but they really shine in niche markets. I was first drawn to the store for their foreign language film offerings, but they also have shelves devoted to specialities like Japanimation and cult classics. They offers five day rentals on all but the most recent new releases, which are offered for two day rentals, still more convenient than many other video stores. They also have specials like rent one, get one free nights that make for great budget movie watching.

This video store seems to have everything! If you can't find it here, it probably doesn't exist. Staff is very knowledgeable and makes great recommendations. Sells many used DVD's and VHS tapes at good prices. Discount card is a bargin.
