These people are liars and bamboozlers
I took some equipment in to get repaired. They gave me their song and dance about how legendary their repair department is and how famous people from far and wide seek them out for musical instrument repairs (I don't know why I believed any of it, considering their crappy little store with not one single name brand instrument for sale in the place...probably buy their inventory from eBay). They had my equipment for twice as long as they said they would (even though I had to sign a contract stating that they own my equipment if I take even 1 second longer than my allotted time to pay). When I went to pick it up, I insisted on testing it first. Instantly I noticed the same exact problem that was supposed to have been fixed. The nasty lady who owns the place told me I must be doing it wrong. So she tried and whattya know... still the same problem. Then she tried convincing me that it was supposed to do that. I told her that was insane and she finally admitted that it was broken. However, she INSISTED that her technician tested it completely before calling me, and that some other thing must have broken (and caused the identical symptoms that it had when I dropped it off). I got in an argument with her because I wanted it fixed, but she told me I still owed her for the first "repairs." I pointed out that they fixed nothing. She began yapping at me that "I have to pay my technicians for their time. This is a business... I can't give you free repairs because it comes out of my pocket." I tried to explain that I received no repairs. "Yea, but we repaired this and that because they looked like they were going bad." "Ok that's great, but I never asked you to do that, and it surely did not fix the problem that actually existed." It is my opinion that she is either a complete fu#$ing idiot or a complete fu#$ing con artist. No intelligent or ethical person would try to distribute that sort of BS and expect me to believe it. Unbelievable. I ended up leaving the equipment to get "repaired" again, even though I expected they would charge me another butt-load of money for not doing their job. In the meantime I got the paperwork for a small claims lawsuit and spoke to my lawyer. A couple weeks later they called and said it was done, and would cost me another few dollars. I decided to bite my tongue and just get my stuff back and pay their stupid money since it wasn't THAT much extra. It still cost a lot and I was treated like a total rube. For a crappy little music store with a stupid name and a pathetic selection of merchandise, they sure act pretty infallible. I don't expect this 2-bit operation will be around for more than a couple years before they lose all their customers. I first went there because of the convenience and not having to drive all the way to Royal Oak or Guitar Center for a decent music store. And I paid the consequence for my laziness.
Oh, and after using my equipment about 5 times, the problem came back just as bad as it was when I first brought it in for repairs. Incredible. You people should feel very proud of yourselves.

If you are looking for an instrument or would like to have them look at one you have this is the place to go.
They also can help you decide if you want to learn an instrument.
