I TOOK MY PART FOR MY OLD SNAPPER WHICH I WAS TOLD BY DOBOS WAS OBSOLETE TO STRUBLES AND THEY TO MY SURPRISE HAD THE PART IN STOCK AND AT A REASONABLE PRICE THEY WERE VERY helpful

These people that own and work at Strubles are just plain nasty individuals. Rude and uncarring toward customers or anyone else that walks through their door. Read some of the reviews on Google and you will see why no one goes to this establishment. Terrible customer service, SSSSSLLLLLOOOOOWWWW reparis and extremely overpriced. They will tell you one price but when you go to pick up your reparied item the price will be MUCH higher.

I brought my mower in a few days after calling to put my name on a repair "waiting list". I asked them to check and clean the carb, since the mower wasn't getting enough gas and was stalling. Six days after dropping it off I called to check on it. They wouldn't tell me anything except that they would call me when it is done. 20 days after putting my name "in line" and 14 after dropping the mower off, I called to get another update. They said it was done, but didn't know for how long. They never called with an estimate or to say it was done. When I went in to pick it up, the total was 2x what it should have been, if not more. They did a full tune-up including sharpening the blades, oil change, spark plug and air filter?none of which I asked for, especially since I replaced the spark plug and sharpened the blades just a couple weeks prior. When I questioned why I should pay for work I didn't ask them to do, they just pushed my mower toward the door, and yelled at me to get out of their store without paying anything. They did fix what I asked them to fix, so I felt like I needed to pay something yet they were just yelling and not listening or reasoning in the slightest. When I tried to give them a check which more than covered their parts and labor for the services I asked for, they kept yelling at me to take the mower for nothing and just get out. I left a check for more than they deserved and got out of there.

The mower runs fine, but they are some of the most rude, slow and unprofessional people I have ever come across. For hardware, try Springfield Do-it-Center, or one of the big box stores. For repair, it is worth the drive to Kalamazoo, Marshall or wherever else you have to go to avoid these people.
