Write Impressions

Write Impressions has a great selection of different papers, and also a bunch of greeting cards, and different gift ideas. It's a fun store, I could spend hours just browsing. We purchased our paper for our DIY wedding invitations there. The staff could have been more helpful, but we did get beautiful paper.

I went with my sister and her fiance when they bought their wedding invitations from WI. There are many books of invitations to look through from extremely fancy to classic and simple. One of the staff members stayed with us until my sister and her fiance had chosen the perfect invitation for them. They arrived really quickly and they were very pleased with the quality of the invitations. When their son was born, they went back to pick out birth announcements from WI as well and were again very pleased with the service and products.

Write Impressions is a great little gem in Royal Oak. They have the most beautiful stationary and gifts. It is fun to just look around in their store. They also have more invitations for different occasions that I have ever seen!

I went to WI to look at wedding invitations for my recent wedding.

They had an OK selection of invitations, but I couldn't for the life of me get anyone to help me! When I had questions, NO ONE was there to answer them. The staff seemed much more focused on assisting the people in the store that they assumed would be spending the most money (they worked like they were on commission!).

They do have a cute selection of greeting cards and other neat little gifty things, but I will not be going back there because of the way I was treated.

Stopped in Write Impressions to check out wedding invitations. Even though I was going through books and asking questions, I could not get a staff member's attention long enough to get any service. There were a lot of customers in that day, and the staff seemed to focus only on the ones who were going to spend a lot of money.

I did end up spending a lot of money on wedding invitations, but not at Write Impressions.

In addition to the customer service problems, the store is not very "user friendly." By this, I mean that the layout is not conducive to a good shopping experience.

We ordered our wedding invitations from them and were highly impressed. They were very patient and helpful with all of the changes we made. The invites were a little pricey, but worth every penny.

I went to Write Impressions to find birth annoucements for my son that was just recently born. I was really impressed when I walked in the door because the place was stocked with stationary, invitaions and all kinds of great gift ideas. The lady working approached me very politely and asked if I needed some help. I told her what I was looking for and she showed me all that they had to offer. I was happy because I finally found a place with more than a couple annoucements. I picked what I wanted and she helped me choose what kind of font, color, and saying I wanted. Not only do they have annoucements, they have wedding invitations, birthday invitations, etc. The store also carries all kinds of gifts, for all kinds of occasions. The only thing that is a downfall for this store is there location! They are in Royal Oak so they don't have their own personal parking lot, you have to park somewhere else and then walk there. To me it was worth walking to because this place really has beautiful and unique things in it.

I used Write Impressions for my wedding invitations and was very pleased with this company... I first went to this store alone (minus the husband-to-be) to just browse and see if it was worth it to bring him back to pick out our invites.. well they had about 20 books full of bridal invitations so I started looking and a woman came over and sat with me to guide me through the books.. I ended up finding the perfect invitation that day.. we went back a week or so later and finalized everything and put our order in, the staff gave recommendations on wording, color, font and were just extremely helpful, I truly would have been lost without their help.. our invitations arrived so quickly, I was amazed and they were right and perfect..

Write Impressions not only does wedding invitations, they do all invitations, birth announcements, photo invitations, wedding programs, place cards, they have a huge selection of stationary and gifts.. you name it and they do it..

The one downfall I can think of is that you have to park and walk to the store.. it's located in Royal Oak and if your familiar with that city some businesses are a pain to get in and out of.. this one isn't too bad though..

The hours are very convenient and you do not need an appointment, which is a plus!

I could spend all day looking at the invitations in this store. They are cute, clever, and very special. You can do the printing yourself if you have the know-how, or pay them to do a custom order. I had my son's 1st birthday invitations printed here and they turned out perfectly. The service was super and it only took a couple of days to receive my order.
