Sweetheart Bakery

I love Sweetheart Bakery, I am in my fourties and have been purchasing cakes/cookies/donuts,etc, since my teenage years, from my personal experience they have the "BEST" cake in the world! I find myself purchasing cake from Sweetheart when there is no birthdate or other special occasion to celebrate, I just love the way there cake taste, it is delicious!

Not only a great place to buy your baked goodies but they have a great staff. You can order your birthday cakes, buy cookies, cupcakes and breads. Wonderful place to shop.

I have been coming to this bakery since I was a child, and it only seemed right that for my first wedding coordinating job that I recommend Sweetheart Bakery. The bride was not disappointed. I brought in picture of the cake that we wanted created and they did it exactly the way the picture was. The service there is impeccable and the cake was of course delicious. After comparing different places in the area, this place stood out not only by the products that they offer but also by the price. Everyone loved the cake and I would recommend this place to anyone whether they are working with a smaller budget or not.

CONS:

This was the absolute worst place to get a special cake from. The cake I received from here was decorated awful, my 4 year old son could have done better. Also, if that isn't bad enough there was a hair on it!!! Totally unhappy with this place and strongly suggest no one go there. Too bad that the only option for the lowest rating is 1 star because I give it a big 0!!!!!!!!!!

Sweetheart has been a family tradition for nearly 10 years. The batter is not too sweet, yet moist. People usually ask, "Where did you buy this cake?" Unfortunately, there is room for improvement. Sweetheart does not accept credit/debit cards and a deposit is required for special orders. I recently called regarding a children's theme cake and was informed about the policy. This has to be a new policy. I have never had to leave a deposit. Sweetheart should step up to the times and improve customer service by taking special orders over the phone and accepting credit/debit cards.

So disappointed when I picked up my mother's 80th birthday cake. Was decorated in the wrong colors and my mother's name was not spelled right. Also, very poorly decorated after it was redone. Do not recommend this bakery.

Custom designed wedding cakes for any budget. Not only do they look fantastic they taste out of this world. We've been getting b-day cakes from them for years. You can get any photo you want printed out on your cake. Recently at my daughters wedding they made us a fabulously designed 3 tier cake. Service was great, they delivered right to the site for no extra cost, lady was very friendly and cordial and even showed us the proper way to serve the cake. Absolutely wowed!
