Great clinic! I have a scaredy cat, and the Dr. and staff were so good with him! They took their time with us and were really patient and concerned with his comfort. They took their time to expain everything and answer all my questions. I will be bringing my little kitty back here from now on!

After receiving outstanding veterinary care for my four cats from Dr. Frankowiak and his staff for over twenty years, I was extremely apprehensive about entrusting the care of my kitty, Misty, to a new vet. While I miss Dr. Frankowiak and Barb tremendously and will always be grateful for every health situation that they got us through in such a caring and professional manor, I have been very happy with the care that Dr. Fitzpatrick has provided for us as well. I have found both Dr. Fitzpatrick and her staff to be very knowledgeable and caring in dealing with Misty's health issues that have developed since Dr. Frankowiak's retirement. When we have had emergency situations arise, we have been able to get in immediately to have the problem dealt with just as Dr. Frankowiak always did. I always get a follow-up call to see how things are going. The health of my kitty is extremely important to me, and I am very confident in the care that Dr. Fitzpatrick has provided for us. I appreciate everything that she and her staff have done tremendously.

Dr. Fitz and her staff at Bayside were wonderful. My six year old dog needed a new doc after our old clinic closed. I loved the small, friendly yet professional feel of the office, and I instantly felt welcome. They gave my nervous dog a lot of love right away. We were invited to pop in anytime just to say hello, so we can get to know them. I would highly recommend!

i recently moved to the area, and had decided to switch vets. I used to go to north gratiot, but found that their prices were getting a bit too steep for me. I also felt like a number there. Plus, getting an appointment was challenging. It usually took several days. Then i I brought my dog in for a teeth cleaning and a tumor removal at Bayside. I felt that the staff was very caring and genuine when it came to me and my overly spoiled dog. The prices were reasonable, and I hope to be using their services for a long time.

We had been clients at Bayside/New Baltimore for
at least 24 yrs. We drove from Novi to the clinic for
eight yrs. Prior and after those eight yrs we lived
in Macomb County. The service had always been
excellent with Dr. Frankowiak and our three Airedales
and two Wire Haired Fox Terriers . We had tried
other clinics and found them lacking in expertise,
compassion and honesty. Our terriers loved visiting
there and our two were surprised when Dr. Fitz
walked into the exam room last year. They immediately
liked her and that was the defining decision as to
who their new vet would be. Her veterinary expertise
was GREAT too.

Barb --staff member--is always ready to answer questions via the phone and at the office...as well as
all other staff members....and observe how they all
love the animals.!!!!!

Sometimes we get so used to one personality as our
vets/and human drs. and find the adjustment to a new
person difficult. Let your dogs/cats have a voice in
the selection too.....

In summary, we pass MANY vet clinics on our drive
to Bayside...about 20 miles...but it's worth it....

my kitty cat was a patient of the previous vet (owner) dr. frankowiak and we were always very happy and satisfied. he was very smart and his prices were very reasonable. dr. frankowiak retired and we are now seeing the new vet dr. fitzpatrick. it is my opinion that since "anchor bay vet" closed (which was right down the street) that many of those clients have since moved on to going to bayside animal clinic. my real main complaint with the new ownership is that i feel dr. fitzpatrick is in need of a second vet. they are very busy and appt times sometimes run late and they (the vet and staff) seem to really have their hands full. i found it difficult to get a same day appointment, even though i called first thing in the morning when my kitty was sick. i feel that dr. fitzpatrick is a good quality vet and things would be much better with another vet to help take over some of the load (as long as he or she is a smart and compassionate vet). also having two quality vets working together would help with complex medical problems as they could both bring their own thoughs and experiences to give the best care possible to the animal.

I am not so sure these reviews except for the one about me retiring are of the Bayside Animal Clinic. One review stated we did not do microchipping but in fact did for at least 15 years. The other review states their cat was spayed and not feeling well post operatively. We would have has the owner bring their pet back in for an examination and treated it accordingly. There was another veterinary clinic in the immediate area that went out of business and I question if these revews were perhaps about them. Our clinic was mistaken for them many times because the names were simiiar. All services at our clinic were first rate and reasonably priced. I have since retired after being at Bayside for 28 years and a new veterinarian has taken over the practice. The business itself has been at the present location for 33 years and established for 40 years so obviously there have been many satisfied clients. I can assure you compassionate, quality medical and surgical care was always given.

I had my cat spade here but it was not the best experience. After she did nothing but lay around we called the vet and he said she would be fine. It took three days for her to move even after phone calls to the vet and telling them she was not eating they did not seem to concerned. Luckily she was OK in the end.

this isn't a review i am looking for a affordable vet were i can get my dogs, micro chipped with out needless additional expenses, my regular vet says he will soon be retiring and he doesn't micro chip, what do you charge? My dogs are both current on their shots and heart-worm.

please let me know

Being that Bayside is in a prime location of New Baltimore, they are often busy. Their animal services are so much higher in price than
other vet's in this area.
