Horrible, horrible. They rob from you. I bought a wash machine on a Friday tried to use it on Sunday the machine was licking called them and they asked me to return it. Took it to the store and they asked me to take it back home and call the store manager in St Loise back named Jon, manager asked me to leave the machine so that they could look and it and refund my money back but he told the store people to take the machine for repair. They threatened to call the police if we didn't leave the store. Their sales people lie, managers are very disrespective all they want is your money, they don't care what happens after you pay as long as they have your money. Please, please take caution before you buy anything from this company. We lost $600 just like that, They dont have any written policies they make u sign a paper real quick that they keep without your knowledge.

I gave complete trust to the Experts, 1800 hundred later my furnace still has the same problems, Mark has taken my payments for three years and now that the word warranty came up, has told me he has no intrest in finishing the work billed for. I will be contacting the BBB and attorney general on this rude person and hope his company goes under. Beware!!!

We bought an electric oven and gas cooktop. The Whirlpool oven had error codes immediately when we powered it up, it wouldn't work. We went in to Appliance Smart for another oven, they said they didn't have a 27" white one in the Metro area. We bought the oven 11/16, had it installed on 11/18. Thanksgiving coming up for 20 and we needed the oven for turkey. Technician came out 11/23 to say they needed to order part, which will take 10 days. The technician was late for appointment so I went back to Appliance Smart. "This is a Whirlpool Support problem, not an Appliance Smart problem" was the response by Store manager. Finally got oven fixed 12/13. Appliance Smart has given me the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Good luck if you go there.

Purchased a new (not scratch/dent) washer and dryer frontload in August 2009. Dryer has broken 4 times in 5 months. ApplianceSmart will not honor their published web site "100% money back guarantee". They said that only applies if can't be repaired. So we have a lemon that has to get repaired over and over and over again. Currently waiting for yet another part and been without a dryer for 3 weeks! We have tried to get money back, exchange for new dryer - all to no avail. They are absolutely not interested in any customer service post-sale..... just in spending the $1500 bucks they got from us.

We went to Appliancesmart twice in a 3 month span. First time to get a complete set of kitchen appliances. We were greeted after 10 minutes by the lead salesman who eventually blew us off for someone else. We left and didn't come back. We were there a week ago for a washer and dryer. Same gentleman greeted us and then ignored us as we weren't into the "energy efficient" aka, more expensive, models. When we would go searching for him to ask about different models, we were treated as though we were interrupting his new session of "zoning out." He was not willing to work with us on anything. We left the store, went to Sears where, just because of the courteous customer service, we spent an extra hundred dollars on a brand new washer and dryer set--no scratches or dents!

We went to this store looking to find a portable dishwasher. They had two. (There's not ever a very big selection of portable dishwashers anywhere.) I went home and researched on the computer. I found the exact same model with no scratches or dents for $100.00 less at another store. They were willing to match the price, but why buy a less than perfect one for the same price of a perfect, new, in the box one?

New store, very nice appearance. Sales associate was (or so I thought) very helpful in helping me pick out the refrigerator I was looking for. However, when the refrigerator was delivered, it was not at all what I had paid for. I went back to the store and explained why I had not accepted the delivery and learned the associate out-right lied as to this appliance and they don't even make a model such as he described to me. The second associate I spoke with claimed this was a mis-communication, however, this is simply not the case. The original associate and I had an entire conversation as to how cool this combination will be and that I had never seen this combination before and didn't know it existed - that's because it doesn't! So, I chose to keep the original refrigerator and just have it painted the way it was originally described and sold to me by painting it on my own. Now for the delivery! I can't say enough bad about the scheduling snafoos! ApplianceSmart can't schedule a delivery on a good day unless you have all day to sit and wait for their drivers to show up. I tried to tell the schedulers no less than 3 separate times they would need to deliver first thing in the morning or the last thing in the evening. Their idea of first thing in the morning was 10:30 am and their idea of the last thing in the evening was 1:30 pm. They refuse to schedule an exact time, but will only offer a 4-hour window with the promise of calling 30 minutes before delivery. The call came 20 minutes prior to the delivery and right smack in the middle of the afternoon! Then, the driver stated they could have, and would have preferred in fact, to deliver the fridge first thing in the morning! Thanks to the scheduler, I wasted 40 miles of driving and 1-1/2 hours of my time driving to my home and back to my work. Thanks for nothing ApplianceSmart! I will NEVER shop here again!
