I am a very fair, honest, and person with a great deal of integrity so for me to write this it is difficult because I like to give everyone the benefit of doubt but I feel that it is important to know this before visiting this store.\r\n\r\nI dropped off our vacuum last wednesday and upon dropping off the vacuum expressed that I'd like a call before any maintenance was done on the vacuum. 5 days passed and I hadn't heard about the vacuum so I decided to call and find out. Upon calling they could not find my vacuum after several minutes of waiting they announced to me that the vacuum was done. This alarmed me right aways becuase they were to call before doing anything. I asked how much it was and he stated that it was 37.50 for the cleaning of the vacuum and an additional 2.79 for a belt. I asked why he hadn't called for my approval and he stated he felt it wasn't that much so they went ahead with it. This is not for him to determine! The other problem with this is we had cleaned the vacuum before we had even taken it up there so basically we were charged $40 some dollars for a new belt. When I went to pick up the vacuum all i stated my name and ""I am here to pick up the vacuum"". The owner then came out and asked when I had dropped of the vacuum and asked if it had been over two weeks ago (the day I dropped it off was clearly written on the invoice for which he had). He then implied that if it had been two weeks I would have gotten a discount. He also stated that they had been busy because of the 4th of July (it is the 20th of July and I have never heard of a vacuum store being busy during the 4th anyway). The point of all of this is the owner of the store was extremely rude and I was extremely mislead (overcharged). When I left he had the nerve to try and sell me a bag vacuum...why in the world would I purchase something from them at this point...get a clue!!! Throughout this whole process I can guarantee I will never come back and I highly encourage everyone else to stay away you'll get it socked to you when you get your bill!
