I went into the Wedding Shoppe to purchase accessories for my wedding. I already had a dress but I needed shoes, purse, flower girl accessories and things for my bridesmaids. I walked into the store and was there a half an hour looking at their merchandise and no one, NOT ONE PERSON WHO WORKED THERE, said ANYTHING to me. NO one even greeted me. Not one "hello, I'll be right with you," no "thanks for stopping in." NOTHING. it was the worst shopping experience I had while shopping for my wedding. Horrible customer service. I would never recommend anyone go there.

I was really nervous about dress shopping because I am not super girlie and rarely wear dresses. I went shopping with my mom and sister and had a really fun time at The Wedding Shoppe. My sales helper made me feel totally comfortable and helped pull dresses she thought would look nice on my body type. I found my dress on the fourth gown and was totally thrilled. I found a great dress that was in my budget. The shopping experience was much more pleased than I had originally thought it was going to be. I actually had fun and did not dread trying on dresses. Overall the staff was great and the selection was more than I could have ever wanted.

I would highly recommend the Wedding Shoppe to other brides. They have a wonderful selection in all different price points and the friendly and knowledgeable staff made all the difference. I was looking for a dress that has straps, which is nearly impossible since most stores only have strapless. I was able to try on a variety of dresses with straps and eventually found the perfect dress. I am very happy I decided to visit this store. Nothing but the best service and selection!!

I had the greatest experience at The Wedding Shoppe in St. Paul. I had heard from many friends and family that this is the place to shop for a wedding gown so I made an appointment on a Thursday night. From the moment I walked in, I felt very comfortable and welcomed to their store. I was checked-in for my appointment and then my consultant greeted me. I told my consultant what I was looking for and she pulled me 5 dresses to try on. I was overwhelmed by looking through the racks, so it was awesome that she pulled the gowns. I tried on about 10 gowns total and ended up purchasing the third dress I tried on. The Wedding Shoppe had a great selection, paid attention to detail, and gave wonderful personal service. I would recommend the Wedding Shoppe to other brides to be. You will not be disappointed!

I purchased my gown here and didn't have any problems with the service, but I do have to say that they rake you over the coals when it comes to alterations. I paid $750 for my dress and over $300 for alterations, and all I had done was a bustle and hemline!!
A close friend purchased her gown here and they forgot to sew in the bra portion of her wedding dress, which wasn't discovered until she was trying it on the morning of her out-of-town wedding. She took it in stride (what can you do at that point?) but was NOT happy about it. They compensated by cleaning her gown free of charge. It's crowded and busy, but they do have a lot of gowns to choose from. Good place to find a bm dress.

I made a recent trip to this wedding store to try on gowns (with an appointment) and while the selection was good the service was terrible. I checked in and waited for about 10min for my consultant who proceeded to lead me upstairs to a gown room and offered very little help. My sister-in-law accompanied me and while in the privacy of the dressing room we took a few pictures for reference. While we had looked to see if there were signs prohibiting this we saw none. The consultant did mention this to us when she noticed us taking picture but not before. The consultant became more and more clingy, trying to take away most of the dresses (even those I hadn't tried yet!!) she eventually wouldn't leave the room even when I was changing and huffed loudly when I wan't her to record my four final gown choices. Also, they will NOT let you know the name of the designer if it is not in the dress even if you ask nicely! VERY VERY BAD My sister-in-law was so embarassed because she suggested the place (having purchased her gown there).

This place has alot of dresses, but only if you want strapless and poufy. They don't take appointments, and act as if they are doing YOU a favor just to try on a dress. Not the sort of treatment one expects when dropping 2 grand on a dress. Forget about shopping for bridesmaid dresses- it's a zoo in there.

Buying the dress was a great experience. However, the tailoring experience was far from great. After multiple fittings the hem was not straight, the darts were not centered and the dress fit poorly. I ended up forfeiting the dress as it was unwearable and my wedding was in 9 days. I would NOT recommend the wedding shoppe for tailoring of any sort.

This store has a fantastic selection of wedding gowns, but their service is pretty awful. I was with a friend as she tried on wedding dresses and she had pretty much narrowed it down to a style after the first store we went to. The woman kept pushing her to try on different necklines (which I would understand if she had not yet tried on any gowns, but that was not the case) and became very disgruntled when the bride said she didn't like that particular style on herself. After that she basically ignored us, only so show the bride cathedral length (and more expensive veils) when she really wanted a simple single tier, shoulder length veil. When we went down stairs to look at bridesmaid's dresses, we were completely ignored. The samples were horrible and the woman working didn't know what styles came in what colors and so on. It was a disaster. My friend did end up buying her gown from this place and it came in early, so that was good. She got a quote on alterations that was almost as much as the dress so she took it elsewhere. There are better bridal shops to go to than this one.

I purchased my wedding dress from the Wedding Shoppe and was very pleased with the overall experience. They have a large variety of dresses in a variety of price ranges. Cathy, my consultant, was great! She was able to help me find the perfect dress. It's definitely worth a stop, but avoid going on a Saturday. I arrived at 11:00 a.m. and didn't try on my first dress until 3:30 p.m.
PROS: Selection
CONS: Long wait, crowded

I found my dress in a trunk show at the Wedding Shoppe and was able to get it on sale. There are hundreds of dresses to choose from. The alterations staff wasn't always friendly, but my dress fit perfectly! I had good luck with bridesmaid dresses there too.

I looked at the Wedding shoppe when I first began my wedding dress hunt. I found a few dresses that I liked but the amount of people in the store at one time was Very overwhelming. I decided to buy elsewhere but did purchase a bridesmaid dress there for my sister's wedding and was pleased with the service.

This place is definitely not lacking in selection, but they could use a little more space. On Saturdays, you may have to wait over an hour to be allowed upstairs to try on dresses. They have a good selection of both bridal and bridesmaids dresses, but there isnt room to really browse the bridal dresses and you have to rely on the sales staff to bring dresses that you might like. I found the sales staff to be very helpful, even making calls to manufacturers to ask if they could acoomodate special changes. They offer discounts for cash and carry and for ordering a dress that they dont carry a sample of. There is also a great selection of miscellaneous items like cake knives, stationary, and purses on the main level.

The wedding shoppe makes shopping for the perfect wedding dress fun. It is a cute little shop on Grand Ave that has a great selection. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful! What they don't have in stock they can order for you. I've had so much fun shopping with friends for dresses here. I highly recommend it.

The Shoppe is easy to shop: It has a helpful, down-to-earth staff .The Shoppe also carries handbags, tiaras, shoes, flower girl dresses, mother-of-the-bride gowns, guest books, pens, unity candles, etc. They have one to one consultation but the saturdays are very busy.It fitted my budget so we liked it a lot.staff here was very attentive and very helpful. I have recommended the Wedding Shoppe to others and they also have been impressed.
PROS: wonderful collection
CONS: Crowded

Be prepared for dresses before visiting this wedding gown shop. Their top floor is all bridal gowns and they have an amzaing selection. They also have excellent service up there. The girls are ready to help find gown, try them on, and adjust for fit. Their main floor is a tux shop and they have invitations, and other wedding items. The basement is full of mother and bridesmaid dresses and more great service. You do need to sign in to try bridal gowns and they only allow so many people up there at once, so there is sometimes a wait. I would suggest avoiding Saturday if possible. The two reasons I gave this 4 starts instead of 5 is they are only open two weeknights and they don't have an extensive selection of lower-priced bridal gowns.

Wow, I have never seen so many wedding dresses in all of my life. The Wedding Shoppe has over a thousand dresses in stock at the store. The store is fairly large obviously due to the large quantity of dresses they have in stock. Customer service is great and you will be greeted as soon as you walk in. Check this place out!
