I called Burnsville H&AC this morning to come out and look at my furnace. The customer service rep that I spoke with asked what was wrong and I told her that the blower and burners seemed fine but I thought the thermostat was hosed. They sent a person who literally spent less then 5 minutes looking at it as said the thermostat was out. "Yes, that's just what I thought it was..."

They spent 20 minutes installing a new thermostat and charged me $94 for a "diagnostic" and $94 for the 20 minutes labor.

They came out and worked on our furnace fan for less than 15 minutes and charged us 200.00. There were no parts put in, he adjusted and lubricated the fan. That's it. When I tried to talk to them about it they said they don't have set fees such as 90.00 for the first half hour and 75 for each thereafter (which is common). The dispatcher told me they don't charge industry standard they have their own fees. I told them when I made the appt we had just had a home inspection done and the furnace was making a noise and the humidifier wasn't working. He did not look at the humidifier even though there was water under it and I was so shocked at the price I didn't check the ticket for the humidifier. The dispatcher also told me that I never mentioned it when I called and that I obviously should have told him again when I saw the charges. Even though there was water on the floor from the humidifier she was very specific that I lied, never mentioned it and they offered to come back out and waive the 59.00 service fee but I just couldn't let them come out. There's no way of knowing what they would have charged. So, I guess maybe it's a blessing they didn't look at it! Who knows what they would have charged me then for 30 minutes of work! Yikes! The dispatcher also told me that their fees have been significantly reduced so I guess I'm lucky they only charged me 200.00 for less than 15 minutes. \r\n\r\n

Need some repair work done on our central air unit. The warranty had experied prior to our moving in, so I decided to go with this company. They did an assessment and fixed the problem (faulty ducts) in a matter of 1/2 a day and were quite affordable. Recommended.

We used this company about 3 years ago to have a new furnace and central air conditioner unit installed. They were efficient and explained things as they went. Easy on the pocketbook, but all the equipment runs great! We also saved money on our energy costs. They followed up to make sure we were happy with their work, good customer service.
