Reviews for Kieran's Irish Pub

Ratings_icons A little Irish downtown

Carin L. | insider Insider | Rank: 21,894

I work downtown and usually eat leftovers at my desk. So heading to Kieran's after work or for lunch is usually a treat. It's always very full, so expect a crowd. It's downtown, so it's pricey. But I do enjoy their chicken Caesar salad, their potato leek soup, and fish n' chips. Of course, when able, a Strongbow is a nice compliment.

This is an authentic Irish pub, with good food, great beer and good music. There is usually a band playing in the evening and it is a fun night out for anyone.

Ratings_icons Meh.

The service is slow. The food is okay, but overpriced. The drinks are decent. There are several other, better options for Irish fare in the Twin Cities.

Ratings_icons Poor Service and Unimpressive Food

Kieran's is a regular spot for several of my co-workers due to convenience rather than quality. Lunch is adequate but nothing special - service is typically slow and the restuarant unclean. Happy hour on the outside patio is a bit better to experience.

Ratings_icons Great Irish Pub

Kieran's is a great Irish pub in downtown Minneapolis. Quality live music. It's a popular place--lots of patrons. In the summer, there is outdoor seating. It has been referred to as the "gateway to Irish culture in the twin cities." I'd have to agree. The folks at Kieran's support many local Irish events and contribute to celebration of the Irish heritage/culture right here in Minnesota.
