We have seen Dr. Radovsky as our family physician for many years and in fact followed her to this HealthEast clinic from the Allina clinic she worked at previously. She a warm, compassionate, knowledgeable physician who takes a holistic approach to most medical concerns our family has presented her with over the years. I like her enormously and trust her medical judgments.

While the staff is certainly very friendly and helpful, I often feel like I'm not being taken seriously. Nothing is ever followed up on, even when my husband broke his foot and it was missed on X-ray. He called back 6 months later with horrible pain, and upon review of the X-ray there was a fracture, which resulted in a permanent injury, leaving my husband unable to continue comfortably with intense sports. I'm often in for terrible and continuous headaches of all sorts (cluster, migraine, and tension) and all the doctors do is throw pain medications at me, like that ever helped anyone cure the cause... No referrals, nothing researched or evaluated, nothing at all. Appointments with a midwife have to be planned at least 6 weeks in advance, since they're all overbooked. Because of this, a 6-week postpartum visit actually becomes a 10-week postpartum visit, yet they still call it a 6-week postpartum visit. In addition, an IUD can't be put in during this visit, and when I asked if this was so that Health East could bill me twice, the scheduler told me yes. Whether or not that is a fact, I don't know, but odd that she said that, don't you think? In addition, my doctor referred my daughter to an orthopedic surgeon who doesn't even take children, and who referred me to the proper children's hospital. Due to this mistake, I'm out almost $400, since I have to pay both bills. The clinic has way too many clients, as can be witnessed by the difficulty of getting an appointment. I have just moved my entire family over to healthpartners.
Pros: friendly staff
Cons: nothing ever happens

The staff is friendly and it is easy to get an appointment, but this clinic is not well equipted.

They do not have an ultrasound on site, only have one fetal heart rate doppler, and all charts and medical data is paper based.

I have been satisified with my care by both the Midwife team and the family practice doc.

Whenever I needed bloodwork drawn, they draw it onsite and usually were able to call me that same afternoon with the results.

PROS: friendly, easy appointments
CONS: must be referred elsewhere for ultrasound

My family and I all see Dr. Dennis Walston at the Mac/Groveland clinic, and we love his personal attention. He takes the extra few minutes to socialize with us, and really expresses an interest in how we're doing as a family. And there have been a number of times when he'll follow-up an office visit with a house call to check up on us, and sometimes to pass on other information he's found subsequent to the appointment. The clinic staff is quite helpful and competent as well.
