I have lived here for about 7 months with my husband and we are enjoying our stay at Oakwood. At first I agreed with the review previous to mine, that it is pretty non-descript and plain, but it's not the looks that matter here it's the people. The office staff are very friendly and the Maintence is always done on time here. My neighbors are all great people and from all different walks of life. The wildlife outside my belcony is just like the wildlife in my parents backyard in rural minnesota and it reminds me of home. I would recomend Oakwood to anyone looking for a home in Plymouth, especially if you want it with relativly cheap rent :)

Pros: Nice People, Nice Neighborhood

.

A generic apartment complex in Plymouth owned by a large real estate corporation, which is pervasive in the culture. An average place to live for average prices. Generally, I have a hard time remembering the name of the place...

The location is nice with an 'away from the city' feel, yet still close enough to make an easy daytrip to downtown. Bus service is available during the weekdays for commuters. There are few amenities available on site, but there a public park across the street with fields for basketball, football, baseball, and tennis. Also within walking distance is a drug store, a grocery store, a fitness center, and a pizza shop.

The propery itself houses a fair number of families, yet most residents seem to be transients, which I suppose is typical among apartment complexes.

The apartment themselves are nice, but unremarkable. Heating is included in the price.

Pros: Location, Balconies

Cons: Bussiness-like mgmt
