Just a little shout out for an amazing stylist, Paula Salas, is by far one of the best stylists I have had touch my hair in years... She listens, and makes you feel right at home.. Her prices are very reasonable and her skills are up to date and she follows the latest trends and is always going to a hair show and telling me the latest and best styles and colors and products. When the stylist can make you feel as good as you look then it's a true fit... Give her a call and make your next apt.

I have been going to see Paula Salas for many years now. She is a great person and so helpful with my hair! She has called me at home to make sure things are working for me. She is great at young styles for me ( I am 21) and styles for my mom! She really understands hair and I totally trust her with anything! This is an AMAZING salon!

I was graduating from college and wanted a new look. My friend encouraged me to see her stylist at Salon 500. I have usually only gone to Fantastic Sams, Great Clips ect... Those places only wanted to frame my hair to my face or layer it, not a style at all! Lame. So I saw Tom and he was amazing. The cut I recieved was like something in a movie and I never dreamed my hair could turn out so nice. It was so different than any other cut I have had. I am going back to see if we can recreate the miracle. It costs a lot more than those other salons, but you get what you pay for!

Pros: Great atmosphere, attentive staff, highly experienced

Cons: Pricey and usually no walk in's avail due to their tight schedules with clients

I love this salon! It is such a nice place! You are always greeted when you enter the salon with an offer of a beverage while you wait (never ever have to) for your stylist to be ready. I personally go to Gina Kane and I will have to say I have never met another stylist who does color so well. I went from a very deep dark color to a light color and Gina did it in a way that wouldn't damage my hair. I have see some other salon's do a complete bleach wash of the girls hair and ended up having to cut at least 4-5 inches off because they damaged it so badly. Gina is a wonderful stylist and just all round great person would recommend her to anyone!

Pros: Reasonabily prices, great atmosphere, I love the baby pictures Gina's has, does great color and cuts both on men and women

I moved to the twin cities area 2 years ago and like most people I had a hairdresser that I went to all the time. I hated the idea of starting over trying to find someone to do hair, especially someone that knew what they were doing. It took a couple of times to find the right salon but when I found it there was no going back. I especially recommend Katie Minks at this salon. She has been servicing clients for over 20 years. It is really worth the drive, I highly recommend this salon-you won't be disappointed!

this is it it's great for every beauty need waxing,cut,color and updos too.
every one does a great job there but my favorite is paula salas shes just great.
worth the drive and right off 35w

Cons: bathroom down the hall from salon, not to many seats if your waiting
