I had an emergency visit today due to my puppies upset stomach. I called Advanced Carpet Restoration to help me asap! They were outstanding as always. My carpet is spotless again!! I always use Advanced Carpet Restoration. I highly recommend them to anyone needing carpet and upholstery cleaning, especially if you have pets.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! Like others, i saw the coupon for 2 rooms plus hall for $69.95. What a crock. Everything besides them showing up at your door is an "extra". Stairs, stains, everything. They gave me an estimate that was around $350 for three rooms with all the extras they put in there. I knew my carpet really needed a good cleaning and it had some stains as well as stairs, so I accepted their estimate and the tech got started. When he was finished he told me the carpet would dry in 24 hours, but it took 72 hours to dry. I don't think he did any vacuuming to get the excess chemicals off. Once the carpet started drying, brown stains started appearing in places where there were not stains before. I called them back and scheduled an appt for the technician (Andrew) to come back. He came back and said this was a pH imbalance and totally normal and a quick acid rinse would fix it. He did the acid rinse and left and the same thing happened again, stains came back even after he assured me they never come back after the acid rinse. I called and scheduled a 3rd visit with Andrew. He never bothered to show up. When I called to find out why he told me it was because there was nothing more he could do. I said I wanted my money back and he told me that he couldn't do that and that he would have the owner Mark Schultz call me. Clearly Mark didn't call, so my husband called and finally got ahold of Mark. He expressed how displeased he was with our carpet and asked for our money back. When Mark refused and court was mentioned, Mark finally agreed to come back to our house for a final visit. I had a 4-6 window and Mark finally showed up at 8:00 that night. Unfortunately because it was later at night, the sun wasn't up to show the stains and Mark just rolled his eyes at me when I pointed to the areas I wanted him to treat. Nevertheless, he did a second acid rinse and on his way out said this would be the last thing he could do for us and he would not be returning. At this point I was so sick of his attitude and rudeness I told him to Please Leave our house. This company has the worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. If you use them and have any problems, you will regret it. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
I wish I could rate this company "zero stars" We found a coupon, and booked the cleaning without looking at reviews or anything else. I am trying to prevent anyone else from making that same mistake, by warning the public of the terrible service this compamy provides. I rarely would ever consider taking the time to do a review but felt so strongly about this situation. The person that came out to do the cleaning was the owner, you would think then you would get a good service, but no. He was very rude when he couldn't talk us in to all the upcharges he was selling. He was in and out of the house cleaning approximately 700 square feet in about 20 minutes. It took us 3 times that long to remove the furniture to get the rooms ready to have the carpet cleaned. When I called to complain about the results, the owner was extremely rude!!! He said we should have purchased all the upcharges for a "better result" The carpet he was cleaning in the house was only 12 months old to begin with! needless to say I would recommend looking for a different company Or rent a dirt devil steam cleaner from your local home depot....you will do better job than this joker! I am convinced any postive reviews written here have been completed by this guys employees, family or friends
Why can't I give this business no stars? I really wonder about the positive reviews on this site...they were probably written by the employees or family members of the owner! I called to make an appointment and I was told that the prices couldnt be quoted over the phone. I said it will just be the maintenance cleaning like the coupon describes. I said I don't have pet stains or any other kind of stains. I was told the manager or owner could call me with a pricing info. I said I wanted someone to come out anyways. The next morning I get a voicemail from "Mark" mentioning that I had "pricing issues" and if I'd like I could call him back. I had no indication that if I didnt call him back, that my appointment would be cancelled. I was busy at work that day and unable to call back and I figured I'd just pay whatever they end up quoting me upon arrival. My husband said a female left him a message hours after Mark left me a message and she confirmed our next day appointment. My husband made arrangements to be home from work the day of our appointment and he moved all of contents out of our closets and our furniture and he waited for someone to arrive during the 2-4pm hour window we were promised. After 4:30 I called ACR and spoke with Michelle. I asked her what happened. She said she didnt know what the problem was and she told me that someone called me several times (the morning of my appointment) letting me know that someone wasnt coming out and they would need to reschedule. I told her That NEVER happened. She argued with me and said it did. I said, "do I need to send you my cell phone bills showing that no one called me?" I told her that my husband and I both have iphones that show missed calls and we didnt get any! I told her what an inconvenience this was and we need our carpets cleaned before a party the next night and our furniture was all moved and ready for them. She just kept saying "do you want to re-schedule?" I said, "no, I want to talk to a manager." She puts me on hold and then comes back and says, "he's in a meeting and not available, but he did tell me to tell you that he tried calling you to re-schedule this morning and the only thing we can do for you now is re-schedule your appointment." I said "forget about it." I hung up the phone and called Mark back at the number he left for me in voicemail that said I could call him back "if I'd like" to talk about "pricing issues" (THERE WERE NO PRICING ISSUES - I JUST WANTED TO KNOW WHAT IT WOULD COST). Even though he was supposedly unavailable and in a meeting according to Michelle, he picked up on the first ring! He was a real jerk and argumentative. He stated that because I didnt call him back when he said, "call me back if you'd like" that I wasnt interested in having my carpet cleaned. He started telling me that no carpet cleaner gives quotes over the phone and only do so when they come out. I said, "so you prefer coming all the way out to my house to give me a quote and then have me tell you, "NO"?" Then he started saying something about charging me a service charge if I did that. I said there was no indication in his voicemail that if I didnt call him back my appointment would be cancelled. I asked why I was told by Michelle that he tried calling me and my husband several times to re-schedule the day of and say they weren't going to make it out to my house when that never happened! All he said was "I don't know about that!" I said, "That's what she told me after she put my hold and then came back and said you weren't available! She also told me that within the first 30 second of me asking her why no one came out! I also said to him that hours after he called me and left me a message we received an additional call saying our appointment was confirmed and they were coming out! This Mark was a such a jerk and when I referred to him as a manager he corrected me and said he was the owner. What an arrogant ass. When people who run a business act like Mark and his employee Michelle, it proves me to me that they must have a lot of dissatisfied customers because acting like jerks and lying was too easy for them. Places like this NEED to go out of business for public's benefit. After reading the other reviews on this site and the reviews I read on other sites, I'm not surprised that other people have had a wide range of complaints about this place. I wish I would have read reviews first.
I've used Advanced Carpet Restoration several times to clean dog smells/stains out of my carpets. They've done an exceptional job at removing both stains and odors and have been very professional as well as nice to my dogs! I'd recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them exclusively for my carpet cleaning needs.
False advertising!! The owner, Mark, came to my house. Didn't take his wet, snowy shoes off and tracked across my wood floors and my carpet to be cleaned. I had a coupon for 49.99 for 350 sq ft, and my whole upper floor was less than that. Mark took a few measurements, tried to upsell me on everything he had, then told me $279. First of all, my carpet is about one year old, and barely soiled. He told me that the basic cleaning wouldn't do anything for me. I told him that I didn't want his service if he couldn't clean my carpet for the advertised price. Mark was not friendly after that and stormed out.

I called ACR to have the carpet in my closet cleaned after my 3 dogs had been sneeking in to do their business. the owner Mark Shultz came out and treated the area and cleaned it very well. no smells, no stains and the carpet looks good as new. while he was here i also had him clean the carpet in my office, bedroom and stairs. Top notch job! i will highly recommend them to friends and family
I've used ACR a few times now after some bad experiences with other cleaners in town. I first heard about these guys on the radio and thought they sounded like a nice, professional company. I called about a cleaning and a carpet re-stretch. Two different guys came from ACR for my two jobs and provided great service right at the quoted price. I highly recommend these guys and will use them again in the future.
On June 4, 2010 I called Advance Carpet Restoration and talked to Julie, I asked if someone could come and clean our carpets, our dog had an accident. I told her that I have a coupon for 800 sq feet for $99.95. She asked if we would like it done today and I said that would be wonderful. She said let me check to see what time we could be out and I will call you back. So she called me back and stated the time frame they would be out and then called my back about one minute later and said that for the stained areas it would cost $0.20 extra a square foot and I understood.
So they arrive to clean our carpet, my husband shows them around and the person they sent out to do the job, said it would cost $200 to clean the areas we wanted cleaned. He tried to call me, since I was the one that talked to them and ask the price I was quoted, and since he couldn??t contact me, he said lets just clean the living room where the stains are. And so a new quote was written up now for $50 to clean the carpet, $50 to sanitize the carpet and $0.30 to treat the pet stained area. And since we need this done desperately, he signed off on the agreement. When I came home, the carpet cleaning person told me they were unable to get the stains out due to the fact that we used a carpet clean spray on the stains. This seemed a little odd to me, stains set in using a spray specially designed for carpet? He proceeded to tell me we would have to replace that area of the carpet and of course they could do that for me. I said we would think about what we wanted to do and I went to pay the bill.
At first I thought he had made a mistake on the bill-$127.80 for ONE room, this was supposed to be for all of the rooms. I told him what Julie had told me on the phone and he said that the schedulers couldn??t quote a price. And I said well she did and I am not paying for any more than what was quoted especially since the stains were still in the carpet. So he called the owner of the company for me, I said I would love to talk to him, thinking no one would want their company run this way. As I was talking to the owner, I could see I was getting nowhere, after going back and forth for about 10 minutes, I stated I will pay the price I was quoted and hung up.
I wrote a check for $77.80 for room measuring 15 X 20, 300 square feet, for which I thought was fair since the original price was $99.95 for 800 square feet. And I asked him to leave. He proceed to go on and on about how I was unprofessional and called me a b*tch, all while my children 4 and 2 were in the same room. I asked him to leave at least 3 more times and after he wouldn??t I took his things from my counter, and I walked to the front door and threw them on the lawn. He comes running out, and swipes his hand against my flower pot, throwing it into the yard and shattering it, and kicks my other flower pot into the yard, breaking it. I was so upset, I ran to his truck and took his sunglasses and brook them. Until he finally gets in his truck and is ready to leave and somehow he had taken my cell phone from the house, he throws this on the street breaking it.
A police report has been filed and we are still waiting for this matter to resolve.
Needless to say, I would want to know about a company that operates this way, before letting them into MY house.

This company provides you with a free estimate. They do a great job cleaning and deodorizing the carpet. They do well with pet stains and food stains. They can also do water and smoke damage, automotive interior cleaning, fiber protectant and carpet repairs.This company donates money to the Minnesota Valley Humane Society, which is very generous on their part.
