I love going to thrift stores you can always find something you want in them. They have old old things and they also have some new things that wouldn't sell in the stores. Great place, the staff are friendly and welcoming.

This is a great store that has plenty of room and lots of inventory. The employees are helpful and making a donation couldn't be easier.

The average customers are good too. I have been to some thrifts where the customers make you decide to not go back. Value Village has customers that keep to themself never grab or cause a commotion if you are looking at something, and do not snag itms out of your hand to steal a deal from you.

The downfall that I have seen happening in the recent months is that the prices are going way up. I don't know if this coincides with a new management system, but I noticed it when the new St. Paul location opened. I am not saying that things should be dirt cheap just because everything is donated, but what used to be a 2.00 book is now a 5.00 book. What used to be a 5.99 video game is now a 15.99 game. Items like electronics have also gone up. It may have been worth it to take a chance on a router that had no cables and power adaptor for 5.00, but it is not worth it to take the chance on that same router now that it cost you 15.00.

There are still deals to be had, but they seem fewer and farther between. I would still recommend stopping by this store, I still do in my Thrift store / garage sale / used bookstore rounds, but don't expect to find the OMG deals anymore!

Pros: constantly changing stock, large store, lots of inventory

Cons: prices are rising almost 2-fold from just 6 months ago

Value Village is a good place to shop if you are looking for a bargain. They have a decent size space and a large selection. They usually have some sales going on with 40% off or 50%.

This is a good sized thrift store with lots of good stuff. Reasonably well staffed, not too crowded, and ample dressing room space. The only problem I have with this location is that it gets messy FAST and the staff usually concentrates more on stocking than they do on cleanup - it makes it hard to get around with a cart in some areas of the store.

Value Village always has a good selection of used clothes/toys/household items and reasonable prices. I always come away with a few good finds. The clothes are organized and they have dressing rooms to try on (if you aren't scared of trying on used clothing). They have their items marked with different colored tags, so depending on when you go in, some items are 50% off.
