I love Eddingtons. We go there any time we are back in MLPs, our kids request it when they know we are heading to MN. The food is really great. I love the baked sandwiches, the smoked turkey is great too, or for veggie lovers--the cucumber cream cheese sandwich. The soup is the best you will find. They will give you a sample and if you go outside the lunch rush hour, you can take your time and decide. The bottomless bowl is a great option as well. The cookies are also a favorite. They have great specialty salads that they make fresh daily. Check out the website for multiple locations. http://www.eddingtons.com/

Whenever we are around the Ridgedale area, the boys are always asking to visit Eddingtons. They really enjoy chowing down on the sandwiches (I prefer the soup myself) and the lemon cookies are the best around.

I have never had soup as great as this place! For around $6 you can get a bottomless bowl of soup (and you can get a different kind every time you refill) along with unlimited free breadsticks. The breadsticks are very fresh because they go through them so quickly. They are warm, soft, and buttery. I would highly recommend the Basil Pine Nut soup. I have run into a couple instances where they decided to close over an hour early (before 7pm!) for no explainable reason which was very frustrating for me. They aren't open on Sundays which is also annoying since the weekends are when you want to go out to eat.

I'm not too impressed with the salads and sandwiches at Eddingtons, but I really love the soup there! There are always many choices, and the bottomless soup bowl is an excellent bargain - all you can eat soup and breadsticks for around $5-6! The only thing I don't like about eating in at the restaurant is that they tend to kick you out of certain sections of the restaurant closer to closing time - I understand that they like to clean before the restaurant closes, but they boot you out of the section with short tables and chairs and make you sit in the back on the stools - I hate stools and would rather not sit back there. Otherwise I have no complaints!
