I called this place and made an appt for my long haired cat to get a bath/brush/de-matting. They asked if I wanted to get the lion-cut instead of the dematting and I explained that wasn't an option because it's the middle of winter and he's mostly an outside cat. I told her exactly what to expect over the phone, and what we wanted. When my husband brought the cat in. They asked him again if we wanted the lion-cut. He said no and explained what we wanted. They then proceeded to tell him that they could not bathe him without first shaving off his matted spots because the bath would make them worse. Apparently they do not actually offer a 'de-matting' service as advertised on their website. Their solution to matted spots is to just shave it all off. My husband got me on the phone and I explained again that he is an outside cat, and that they absolutely cannot shave him and leave exposed skin. The woman then got snarky with me and said that they would just send the cat home with my husband because there was nothing they could do. I again asked her if they couldn't just brush him 'cut out' the more stubborn matts with scissors without actually shaving them. It was like talking to a brick wall for 5 full minutes. In the end she said they would just forego the brush him and get the matts best they could (his matting was NOT that bad by the way) and anything that they couldn't brush out would just be left until spring.
So my husband goes back to pick up the cat later on, and when they bring him out, he has 3 big bald spots where they shaved him down to the skin! The woman smiles all sheepishly and says, well, I know your wife isn't going to be happy about this - but I am. She proceeds to tell my husband to just try to 'hide it' from me, and that really everyone is better off that she went ahead and shaved the cat anyway. This is after I told them he is AN OUTDOOR CAT! The temperature outside that very day was -2! On top of that - even though they shaved off all the matting, he still didn't even get bath! The whole reason they originally said they couldn't do the bath was because of the matting! And the bath was the main reason I brought him there!
What kind of a business practice is it to say that "Look, I know we did the exact opposite of what you asked, and that you're going to be really unhappy about it, but the important thing is that WE'RE happy." How this place is still in business with that kind of attitude - I have no idea.
Do not give these people your business. They have no regard for your pet (now my poor cat is going to get frostbite when I let him out) and they certainly have no regard for you as a customer. I will do everything I can to make sure everyone I know who has pet knows what shady, incompetent business this is.

Great kennel. They truly care about thier boaders, and listen to the owner's concerns. They have a daycare program that allows my GD to socialize (the dogs get to play oustside together) if I have to be gone all day. Very friendly and accommodating service.

If your going on vacation and want to make sure your beloved pet has a loving care taker then this place is just right for you. They take extra care of their borders and treat each one as if they were special. They also do excellent grooming here.
They really know their animals and I would not board my dog anywhere else.
