After reading all the stellar reviews of this place, calling it a "hidden gem," I decided to sample the cuisine they advertise of Korean, Vietnamese, Hmong, Chinese, Japanese and Mongolian. It should REMAIN hidden.

The place seems to have changed management numerous times as there is a temporary sign out front calling it the "Rice Palace," however the old sign Park'a BBQ Grill and Mongolian or some such is still there. I'm not sure what the official name is.

Upon entering, I enquired as to whether such a place served "tom muc," a squid and shrimp soup which is served in all Vietnamese or Hmong restaurants in the world, but they didn't have it. For a restaurant that purports to specialise in "
Asian cuisine," they certainly missed the mark on this one.

They advertised out front Seafood and Sushi. There is a large neon sign inside above the buffet advertising the same. I can't eat pork, so this seemed like a wonderful choice for lunch.

After paying my money, I went to the buffet where I found NO seafood. NONE. The "sushi" consisted of rice rolls that can be purchased at any supermarket deli. In fact, a supermarket deli has a rather large selection of sushi compared to this place, and NONE of them contained any seafood!

After searching for something as simple as fresh ripe fruit, I could not find anything to eat. Most of the dishes were variations on badly seasoned pork, and few other meat dishes that were palatable. In fact, the placed smelled rather distasteful.

The server was 15 and quite unfriendly.

The manager flatly refused to refund my money, but instead sent over the unfriendly server to tell me that 'seafood only night.' and bugger my refund. NOwhere, either outside or in, does it indicate that they only have seafood available at night.

Completely unacceptable.
Totally unpleasant experience.
They simply took money out of my pocket for walking in the door.

I left promptly without having eaten so much as a fortune cookie, and my wallet $10 lighter.
