Haberkorn Law Offices Ltd

There are not that many attornies to choose from in this tiny place -- and in MY opinion I would never choose Attorney Jeffrey Haberkorn again!

We tele-communicated an approximate 200 mile stretch on a child visitation issue and visited his office twice before the hearing. We AGREED on a set price and have it in writing AND on audio tape (which IS legal in MN).

The disposition of the case is not important here...but what was important is that he AGREED to a price, we gave it to him up front and after the case was done (2001??) he started billing us for about $150.00. I called his office and explained this was paid in full before hand. It didn't matter. I spoke w/ the attorney and he said basically for all the hassle he was adding this amount on. OH NO YOU DON'T.

His billing practices are so messed up that a few months later this bill magically doubled by the exact amount it was originally. His office and he have been contacted by certified mail on several occassions and offered PROOF POSITIVE that we paid in full......but the bills still come nearly 5/6 years later.

PROS: none
CONS: it doesn't matter if it's agreed upon and in writing -- he still bills (us)
