The owners were very accommodating and friendly. We arrived at 3am and they made sure the room was open and already warm.

The room/cabin is huge! The bedrooms are separated by a kitchen. The back bedroom has a very nice view. There is a couch next to a fireplace/heater that makes the room very comfortable even in -32 degree weather. The beds were comfy and the linens were soft and clean. The bedroom has glass sliding doors separating it from the rest of the cabin. My friend and I were able to sleep despite the noise coming from the kitchen. The kitchen is huge as well. Pots, pans, and everything you could possibly need to cook a meal is provided. The bathroom was nice, but very small. There is no exhaust fan which made for some embarrassing noises/ odors at times. The front bedroom was just as nice. The bed was comfy and the couch was a fold out. 4 adults were very comfortable over the 3 day weekend.

The only cabin downside was the lack of cell phone/ computer signal and no television. If you decide to stay, bring along a laptop to watch movies. We were able to rent skies. Brice (the owner) personally set us up with exactly what we needed, including the downlow on all the surrounding trails. Excellent location for everything!!!

We also ate breakfast at the innkeepers home. It was an amazingly well cooked meal. The only comment- I was expecting a country meal- corn beef hash, eggs, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, etc... Instead we were served a very nice, healthy meal- grapefruit, apple pancakes, banana bread and tea. Very good- just not what we expected.

I'm not familiar with the area so I don't know what other hotels have to offer, but I would highly recommend this place. The owners are just sooo great!! For example, during the -40 degree weekend, our car locks froze. Brice was more than happy to lend us a torch to warm up the key. 5 min later we were back in our car. Good price, good food, good people!
