I had no previous experience in ordering electrical services and when I called for information they were more than helpful to answer my questions.\r\n\r\nI called around to a couple of other places for quotes and information and decided on Gunnar Electric. The work was affordable, completed in a timely manner and my lighting looks amazing! \r\n\r\nI will not hesitate to call Gunnar Electric with any future rennovations or projects :)\r\n

I found it so refreshing to find a company that has as much integrity as Gunnar Electric. I was so pleased with the honesty and talent of their employees. It was a situation where I could easily have been taken advantage of unknowingly, but because they are such a reputable, honest business they should be commended.

We used this company because it was recommended by a family friend (his former employer) for work that needed to be done at our house prior to renting it out. \r\n\r\nAfter contacting them initially, it took them a week and a half to schedule a date to do the estimate - and then had to reschedule for a date a week later. Once they actually completed the work (which was a hassle to actually attempt to schedule them out at the house)...they never bothered to file for a permit with the city. Instead of owning up to the fact that they didn't follow through on their end, they tried to pass of the delay to the city permit/inspection department. However, when we actually followed up with the city regarding the permit/inspection, we were told that a permit request hadn't even been filed with them. We have then been leaving messages for the last week and a half to find out why a permit hasn't been requested, but no one has bothered to call us back. \r\n\r\nFinally when I called today to demand an explanation since they have now cost us over $1000 in lost rent money not to mention whatever cost we are going to be charged for the work that they have done, they told me that they lost the paperwork for the permit on their desk and that they sent it to the city today.\r\n\r\nTheir lack of concern for communication and customer service is absolutely unacceptable - therefore, I would not recommend using this company unless you are looking for a second full time job to babysit them every step of the process.
