Tonka Cleaners lost my suit pants! If I had the ORIGINAL RECEIPT from when I bought the suit, Tonka Cleaners would reimburse the cost of the pants. If not, Tonka Cleaners would only give "In-Store Credit" -- at the value they choose. !! That is the message I got today from a teenage clerk after a month of twice weekly requests to have Tonka Cleaners Manager call me. The teenage clerk also told me a lot of things have been lost because they have new owners and are shipping clothes to a new cleaning location. So, why on earth would I value their "In Store Credit" so they can lose more of my work clothes?
And who keeps all their clothing receipts?
Rediculous. For a month, I stopped in to Tonka Cleaners at 300 Utah Ave. Sometimes twice a week. Each time the clerk told me the manager would give me a call. She never did. They did not even try to remedy the situation. Did not call and ask specifics on what the suit pants looked like. This will be my first and last experience with Tonka Cleaners. It was an expensive (not Armani, but expensive to me) grey suit that I loved and had not had for very long.

Cons: Lost Suit Pants. No Reimbursement. No Call from Manager

I recently deceided to end a long term business relationship with Tonka Cleaners in Minnetonka, because of poor customer service displayed by the owner and her staff. The owner is extremly rude with no customer service skills or personality.
For the prices that they charge, you would expect to receive wonderful service, that is NOT the case! They are always on the phone and not customer friendly. I will never return there and they have lost a good customer.
