Living just down the street from Pop has been wonderful. We can walk down for an early dinner, or meet friends for a late dinner and glass of wine any day of the week. They are closed on Sundays. This is a great "girlfriend getaway" lunch spot too. The staff can be oblivious at times, but I have learned to ask for what I want from them. The food is never a disappointment, but it might be time for a menu change now. Keep the classics on the menu, but add some new stuff too!

This is a true North East Restaraunt! It just fits into the neighborhood. Taking up residence in the old "Nan's NE" spot on the corner of 29th and Johnson, they have put on a fresh face. I went there with my wife & 2 sons and the food was outstanding. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it was soooo much better. They had a simple but delicious menu and wine list. A new spin on traditional foods as well as unique choices. The service was wonderful and we will be back! Can't wait to check out it's twin restaraunt 1 store down called "Snap" for pizza and Ice cream.

A nice little neighborhood bistro with good food. A fun addition to the neighborhood, this upbeat, cramped, colorful little spot offers eclectic fare. No Reservations, and there's no bar--you can't get a drink if there's a wait for your table. They skimped in a few areas--black cloth napkins, probably to hide stains (the place is bright blue and yellow). The dessert menu was just printed on a sheet of yellow office paper, simply folded in half. They seemed overpriced, too. ($8 for dessert?) The desserts I saw seemed a bit thrown-together--trying too hard to be fun and quirky. The silverware is the kind you get at an all-night diner. Still, a fun place, and I'm glad it's there. Service was friendly and made an effort to do their best. Lots of smiles and cheer all around.
