Jan's Place has the best breakfast around! I highly recommend the blueberry pancakes! They are they rock! Although, everything I have had there is very good.

First off, if you're looking for a fancy breakfast keep moving, this place isn't for you. This restaurant is for people that enjoy the small things.

The food at Jan's is great. If you're watching your caloric intake I'd stick with the coffee but this is a great place to splurge. Jan's type of establishment is a part of America that unfortunately, is fading out. Small town restaurants that aren't chains and offer good food at good prices. A play that when you say " extra crispy " hashbrowns they do it and the waitresses have regulars and some customers have "their" table or booth. From farmers to famlies its a pleasure to listen to the gentle buzz of conversation in a restaurant that's never wasted money on trying to look super fancy or being something they aren't. If you're looking for an old fashioned pancake, egg, sausage and hashbrown breakfast this is the place that the locals know about and its worth the trip.

* Don't forget to tip! The waitresses are wonderful and try the biscuits and gravy!

PROS: Local place, great atmosphere and woderful service
CONS:
