I have been taking my three pets to Brookdale Animal Hospital for several years now and I am glad I made the switch. The staff is great and always welcoming when we come in. I have seen both Drs and both are very friendly and really good with my pets. They take their time to explain things and even call you to see how your pet is doing if they have been sick- which I really appreciate. Thank You Brookdale for taking such good care of my babies!!!!

I WOULNT BRING MY ANIMALS HERE IF IT WAS HIT IN THE PARKING LOT OF THE CLINIC-
I brought my cat Tabby in on Monday because she was breathing heavy- looked at my cat for 2 seconds- came back in the room with over a $500+ bill and said pay that or Tabby will die. I didn??t get paid until the next day (I have paid over $5k to this clinic for my dogs) and they still wouldn??t treat her. They only care about the bottom line not your pets wellbeing-
Tabby suffered another 32 hours before we brought her to a good vet to be put down. They only did 1 test at a time- 1 was all it took to see her heart was failing and her chest was filled with fluid crushing her lungs. Big Lake Vet really cares about your pet- not this place- I warn you!

I brought my dog and cat there after trying several different places. They are not only very nice and treat the animals (and people) well but they are open Saturdays and ARE NOT EXPENSIVE! I've done a lot of shopping around. Pet care is expensive, but they charge very reasonable rates for very good care. I am very happy with the care and attention my pets get there.

My normal vet was not available so I went here and found Dr. Renee and the staff were great. I will be going here from now on. They explain things much more clearly than my previous vet and gave us estimates before performing tests unlike other places. I will recommend to my friends and family.

I was told my cat's test results were abnormal and required further (expensive) tests. Afterwards, I checked online and with another vet and found out that my cat's initial test results were fine and no other tests should have been required.
1Dr Bryan is a very dedicated and compassionate doctor.
The care our pets have received over the past 25 years
from Dr. Bryan and staff is outstanding, the best of the best.
This review is long overdue, however, no time like the present. I have been taking my pets to BDAH for many years now. My most recent experience just confirms how much the staff really cares about my pet(s), like they're one of the family. My loving male staffordshire terrior just was not himself, lost his appetite and seemed depressed. I took him in for a check up and he was truly ill. The attention he received, hugs and kisses, and follow-up phone calls meant a lot to me. There was also a continued concern for the expenses along the way and was always provided the cost and the option to continue on. Dr. Renee is a gem, Diane and all the vet techs are great caregivers - kudos to all of you and may you always maintain the high level of service you provide today. Thanks!!

I took my 2 year old rescue dog there and they could not have been more caring. She had to have two teeth pulled and then a few months later she had a bladder infection. The doctor called several times after her dental surgery to check on her and then again after he saw her for her bladder infection he called to check up on her.Very caring place.Yes they are a little expensive but well worth it.

Personal small town type service. The staff know you and your animal(s) by site but have up to date knowledge and equipment. They are very accommodating. This is definitely the only place I take my pets.
5I brought my 5-year-old cat here after getting her from the humane society. I found the staff and doctors friendly and knowledgeable. They called me with reminders for her annual shots and seemed to truly like animals. Sometimes I felt a bit anonymous there but never did I feel my cat received substandard care.
PROS: Competent staff
CONS: A bit impersonal

They are really good vets and very friendly staff. I have taken my animals to them for years. I trust them completly. The only thing is I do find them kind of expensive. I have not compared prices so I am not sure. They also do boarding if you need that service. They also sell food ect.
