We had to take a female cat in about 4AM when she was bleeding several hours after giving birth. The staff was competent and helpful. Everything, including prices, was explained to us. We got a CD with xrays on it, a complete written report, with these also faxed to our vet, a reasonable price and quick service.

I brought my cat here when he was very ill. Before I could even say goodbye (his chance of survival was not looking good) the nurse snatched him from me. He went into cardiac arrest almost immediately, and although they knew his condition and knew that his chance of survival was slim to none, which I later learned from my regular vet, they never told us this and allowed us to continue approving the CPR, thus dragging on his misery with uncomfortable stragers. Every time I asked the nurse what she would do in our situation and what his condition was, the only answer I received was "I don't know. I am not the doctor. There is no time you have to decide whether you want this CPR to go on." If I would have known the state that he was in, I never would have approved. I believe that the ladies job was to stay calm and to help us along, and she failed terribly. She was more frantic than I was. They seemed like people just trying to get my money more than anything else. (By the way the CPR cost was $26.75 per minute, which we were unaware of). I feel horrible that my precious cat died in the hands of strangers and my last memory of him was his cry as he was being snatched out of our arms.
