The Dr. is a straight shooter, even if you don't want to hear, what he has to say. He is not out to rip a pet owner off. He help's you put things into prospective, during what was for me, a very emotional time. I completely trust him, and his staff. I would recommend him to other Pet owners..

We love the CPPH - we have had 3 cats and a dog. One of the cats broke a hip and her treatment from CPPH was superb. Puppy Bailey had issues and they truly helped us resolve them. We were given several spendy options but CPPH did the best job. They take the best care of our pets and we will continue to bring all of our pets to CPPH.

Love,
Bailey, Callie, Ziggy and Skit and family

I just want to let everyone know that I love this place! Everyone is so nice and the care is awesome. We used to go to another clinic in Champlin (I won't say the name) but they were a lot more expensive and the staff- not so friendly. Our neighbor recommended Champlin Park and we've been there ever since. Trust me -You and your pet will LOVE them! Linda~~~

Dr. Liveringhouse is a terrific vet! He is serious when it comes to caring for animals. Humor and small talk are not his thing, but caring for animals is. When we needed to put our yellow lab down he and his staff were awesome and very understanding of our grief. I would highly reccomend them to anyone looking for a wonderful doctor who truly cares about animals.

I have taken my 7-year old Springer Spaniel to Dr. Bruce since she was a puppy. She tore her ACL two years ago and Dr Bruce gave me a ton of options for surgery. He was the cheapest and did a great job with her. She's back "springing" around like nothing happened. My in-laws take their dog to him also and he has done a surgical procedure on their dog with a great result as well.
The staff is so friendly and flexible. I really feel like my dog gets top-notch care at a very reasonable price. I moved 35 miles away from Champlin four years ago but I still make the drive because they are the best!

I bring my dogs and cats here they are very nice and don't charge you an arm and a leg. I would definantly recomend them if you need vet care and are on a budget.

But if you have pet birds I wouldn't recomend going there. My budgie got scratched by one of my cats once and they just said that he'd be fine and not to bring him in. So I had to bring him to a more helpful vet.

PROS: Good place to bring your dogs or cats
CONS: not for bird owners

We brought our cat in because she stopped eating and was very weak. Dr. Liveringhouse basically told us that she is going to die and that he could either refer her on to the University or put her down because most people don't want to continue with treatment. He gave this recommendation BEFORE any tests were even performed. I told him to first run a blood test so we can figure out what we are up against before we make any rash decisions. It took her several hours back home to recover from the stress of being there. He was not quick with drawing blood or giving her fluids. Do NOT take your pet here.

I took my cat in on April 21, 2009 for constipation and Dr. Liveringhouse began by telling me how "tired, overworked and burnt out" he is. He then lectured me about how bad cats are to have in a home with children. He told me that I should euthanize my constipated cat without doing any tests besides taking her temperature and looking in her mouth and ears. I was very disappointed in his attitude and bedside manner and will NEVER go back. I do not recommend this pet hospital to anyone, especially cats.

My dog was limping really bad on one leg. Took him to this "vet" and he said he broke his leg. Unable to pay for high vet costs, I was devastated that my only option was to put him down. Heartbroken and obviously shaken in the office, all I got was bill pay options. NICE. Out of desperation I went to get a second opinion or at least a cheaper payment at another vet. Turns out, my dog just had an infection between his toes (it hurt him so he limped) and the medicine was $3.00. Yes $3.00. He has since made a full recovery and is back to being his rambuncious self. This vet is only looking for money - please do not let a lovable animal be put down over their greed. I let them know their mistake and all I got was a refund for my visit. Gee thanks!
