I have used Gregie's Small Engine Shop for at least 10 years. I take my snow blower and my lawnmower to Greg. \r

What impresses me most about Gregies is the short turnaround time; Take it in today, pick it up tomorrow, Sometimes even

First let me start off saying I didn't read any of the other reviews on here before I took my snow blower to Greg and his wife. I can honestly say that my experience wasn't like most that have posted here. To those who called Greg

Like an idiot, I forced my snowblower into the snow and ruined my augur. As a handyman myself, I ordered my own parts and attempted to replace. Unfortunately, I had seized the thing and couldn't get it off.

I went into his shop without my snowblower to explain the problem. I told him what the issue was and that I had a picture of it on line that I wanted to show him. His response was (as he never got out of his chair) "I am in the middle of

I took my snowblower for belt repair to this person. He repaired it but when I brought it back and started it, several more complications started happening and when I called him about it he told me to bring it in. I sure did take it back and he said this will cost tons more money to repair. At this point I brought my snowblower back without any repairs,.....frustrating experience for sure.

Pros: Nothing

We were taking my aunt's snowblower in for repair because the impeller was not throwing snow like it should. We put it on a trailer, took it to the shop and brought it in to have it serviced. We relayed the problem to the person working who quoted us an estimate of 2.5 times his posted hourly rate just to look at it (not counting any parts). While calling my aunt to see if she wanted to pay for the service at that price the worker told us, "It's going to snow tonight, so you better get it fixed". Well we talked to my aunt and she was a bit reluctant to pay as much so we asked if he would be willing to negotiate on the price. His response was to simply open up his shop door, no words, nothing.

Well we ended up fixing it ourselves by purchasing a new belt and a half hour later using simple wrenches. Our final cost was about 7% of what he wanted to charge us just to look at it. If he wasn't willing to gouge us so badly he probably could have made an easy repair, charged for the part and labor of one hour and made a decent amount of money. Instead he lost a company and I'll now tell everyone I know to avoid his shop.

Cons: Poor poor customer service, not friendly in the slightest and tried to gouge us due to an upcoming snowfall.
