The worse pad thai I've ever had. It was so greasy and there were ingredients that don't belong in pad thai cooking. (Soy sauce) The spring rolls was a disappointment because I thought it was a fresh one that wraps in rice sheet. To me, it look like an egg roll. Name your food right gosh.

Their food is great! I went there on a date, and it was great! The atmosphere is a little dingy, but their food is wonderful!

The Pad Thai and the Thai iced coffee is sooo good. I would take friends and family here. Good service. No complaints.

GREAT Thai food. If you know what you might like (for example, "I like spicy, and something with peanut and coconut"), they know exactly what to recommend. The service is very friendly and prompt. The only bad thing I have to say is that some days when you order "medium" spicy, it's medium... and some days when you order "medium", you'll burn your mouth off. So I always ask each time "how hot is medium?" I think they usually will tell you based on who is cooking that day. It's just far enough out of the way of the Mall of America and airport to not be crowded and noisy.

I've tried other Thai retaurants and although I'm sure there are better decor's and possibly better menus. I haven't found one of those yet. Always a favorite place to go when my out of town family members visits

This Bloomington Sawatdee is probably one of the worst restaurants in the Twin Cities. We went there in the mid-afternoon and were the only people in the place but still received inattentive and horribly slow service. The food was tasteless and boring; we never saw the drink menu that was mentioned in the profile for this restaurant because it probably doesn't exist!! The server apologized for his lackadaisical service at the end of the meal and offered free ice cream, which I accepted but my husband wisely turned down. The ice cream he brought out was so horribly freezer burned, I'm guessing it had been in the freezer for close to a year!

Stay far, far away from this place! I have no clue why Citysearch said it's such a great place for Thai food!

I have been here a few times and since have varied on my opinion. This place is nice. Not outstanding, but overall satisfactory. Try the Thai iced tea.

Four sisters from North Eastern Thailand bought the restaurant in Sept 2004. The food is absolutely superb. I lived in Thailand for two year and Thai food does not get any better than this. This is Thai food exactly like they make it in thailand

Had dinner here a few nights ago. Have never tried any of their other locations. The only other Thai place I tried in the Twin Cities was Chiang Mai. Overall, the interior decor was ok, I thought it was funny that the ceiling looked more chinese then thai. The background music was pop, which does spoilt he ambience somewhat. We ate the rainforest curry, Thom Yaam soup and the Bangkok Seafood combination. I thought the rainforest curry too mild and tasteless. The Thom Yaam was excellent, although I would have preferred a little bit more 'kick'. The seafood dish was ok, the shrimp weren't too fresh. Overall, the bill was around $40 for 2 people. I think Chiang Mai is better. Service was fast and polite though.

On a cold winter's night, this is the place we like to go to for a spicy curry to warm us up. Summertime, the shrimp salad with fresh lemongrass is as reliable as it is fragrant. Sawatdee has a vast menu of authentic dishes that will…
