I had a fabulous Brazilian wax done by Stonehaven's Esthetician, Karen, and was so sad to hear they were no longer doing waxings. But I recently found her again! She works at the Spa at Lifetime Fitness in Chanhassen, and is still the best Brazillian waxer. You don't have to be a Lifetime member to go to the her, and there is even free childcare!

If you are looking for an excellent massage without the impersonal atmosphere of a corporate spa, look no further. John and Brenda Miller run their own business and personal attention is just a part of that. They are both very experienced and knowledgeable in a variety of massage techniques. My choice is a form of deep tissue massage using heated stones. When I travel, I rarely find a masseuse that can provide the quality of massage that Stonehaven provides.

John is an excellent therapist, great conversationalist, easy to be comfortable with, and shows genuine concern for his clients. He helped me with some serious muscular problems that allowed me to exersize more comfortably and loose weight. I drive from Burnsville to Chanhassen every month just for his treatment, he is very strong and careful with me and the session benefits lasts a month with me, it gave me such a sense of well being and allowed me to enjoy many aspects of life I missed out on for so long.

Brenda and John provide outstanding massage services. I have been a client for over 8 years and have never been disappointed. I've had a number of massages in very expensive spas around the world and no one holds a candle to Brenda! They will personalize the massage to your needs. I love the firm pressure, the hot stones and hot towels. Make an appointment today, you won't believe how great it is.

I've been going to John for massages for about 10 years. He is amazing - very strong, yet has the perfect touch. The hot stone therapy is my favorite. He really listens to his clients and understands how to work with your special needs. The ambience is very warm and welcoming, with wonderfully relaxing music playing throughout the treatment.

After much trial and error several years ago, I was fortunate to find John at Stonehaven. I thought I was getting great massage - only to find that I didn't know what I was missing. I am continually reminded when I walk through the door that they are very gifted professionals that I hold in very high regard. Nothing short of A++
As the saying goes: "three times a charm". Personally I'm just sorry it took me seven tries (elsewhere) to find them.

I went to the Stonehaven Wellness Center for a Brazilian wax. I took a gamble on the place. I was just in town and wanted to get waxed before I went back to Dallas. So glad I did!!! Karen was my esthetician and she is amazing! She was very kind hearted and made the experience as painless as it can be. Her eye for detail and perfection are impeccable. The most thorough Brazilian wax I've ever gotten and the price is reasonable too ($65). Stonehaven is moving soon though and they are discontinuing their waxing services, so if you want a great wax go to Karen soon!!

Located in a small neighborhood strip mall in the Glen Lake area of Minnetonka, this unassuming place on the outside is a pleasant surprise the minute you walk through the door. Inside it's serene, upscale and professional. I've been fortunate to have enjoyed many massages in my life so I know from experience that this place offers something special. The hot stones add a dimension to your massage that can't be matched elsewhere. The smooth stones are warm and soothing over tired muscles. Their therapists pay attention to what you need; I've never felt like I'm getting the same massage everyone else is getting - it seems more personalized to what I need that day. I haven't tried the detox foot bath yet but will - it's peaked my curiosity and I've heard from others that you feel really energized afterward. Could be a fun start to a date coming up! Try this place and I'm sure you'll go back again and again.

This is a wonderful place for a massage. The therapist did a wonderful job, and made me feel comfortable, as it was my first massage. I had a Swedish massage, done with hot stones. it was wonderful, and better for relaxation thanany of my subsequent massages at other places have been.

I enjoyed it so much that I gave my mother a gift certificate for a massage as well. She started getting regular massages there because she enjoyed it so much. I recommend Stonehaven to anyone looking for a massage with a little something extra.

Jon and Brenda have created a really great place within the Minnetonka area for a high quality, relaxing, and all around enjoyable attmosphere. When I had the Rock massage, it was so comforting that they put me to sleep, and that was at 11:30 am! Great staff, I can't recommend it enough as a gift for your significant other, or for a way to relax.
Note, I went in for treatment after I pulled out my back , and haven't had a problem since.

Pros: Hometown personality, professional service

Cons: There aren't more of them
