Dale is the BEST. I know Dale for at least 4 years. I graduated from SCSU and moved, but I still drive 170 miles to have Dale work on my car. He is honest and ALWAYS finds me the cheapest deal. I asked him about the first reviewer Rebecca. Dale told me he remembered her, she purchased an old Pontiac for just a couple hundred bucks to use it for parts. Always need to know both side of the story. I know a few others who also likes Dale. His sons are also great. A great honest family business, I wish Dale was a Dentist as well : )

I find it hard to believe the first reviewers story. First of all, this is a mechanic, not a car dealer. Second of all, Dale (the owner) always helps a person repair a car for the least expensive possible way.

I recently crashed my car, technically totaling it. I brought him a few cars to take a look at before considering purchasing them. He was very honest and straight up with me. For example I brought him a Mercury Mystique, and he told me that it was a good car, but it would be a very expensive repair job. I was talking to another mechanic (who doesn't work as a mechanic now) about the Mystique, and he said the same thing about it, so I know Dale and Greg were honest. They actually told me I could fix my totaled car for about $1000, which was a way better deal than all the under $2000 cars I was looking at.

It's unfortunate that the previous individual had problems at this business.
We have been customers at this business for many years, having been referred by a relative. We have never been disappointed, and we confidently recommend this business to many of our friends. Dale has ALWAYS recommended the least expensive option, often looking for quality used parts when appropriate.
We will continue to bring our vehicles there for quality, affordable service. Thanks Dale...

This place sold me a car that within 2 weeks the heat was not working by the middle of that week the car had died and when taken to him, he said the engine is going. He is unwilling to fix, repair, or refund my money. I should have known when he wouldn't take a check!!!
BUYER BEWARE!!!
