We recently brought our dog here after he passed away. He passed in the middle of the night and we weren't sure what to do and the staff here was very helpful and understanding (even after the 5th time of us calling). They are the only place in the cities that does autopsies. We brought him here and they took care of the rest, even making sure the ashes got back to our personal vet, along with the autopsy report. We were very impressed with how smooth they made the whole process.
I went to the U for my dog's behavior problems and they were wonderful. Can't say enough good things. Since I was so impressed with the behavioral service I used them for general medicine and I was equally impressed. They probably are a bit more expensive, but you get what you pay for. It is great to have the most up-to-date, knowledgeable staff from a variety of specialties on site, especially if something out of the ordinary comes up.
While this may be the place to go if your pet has a strange illness, I do not recommend their services if you have a typical pet problem. We had to wait a very long time to get in to our scheduled appointment, the doctor did not help the cat to relax at all, and the price was terribly high.
PROS:
CONS: Expensive, slow, not very helpful.
