I went here to get my first tattoo from Mike. The design was small and simple, but he did a great job nonetheless. They really take care of you here. They make you feel comfortable and talk you through everything to make sure you're

I made the mistake of coming here twice. Each time, the counter girls were incredibly snotty. They rolled their eyes and brushed me off just for asking how much longer it would be (after I'd waited for over an hour longer than they told me

don't bother going here to get original art. Like another reviewer I went to Saint Sabrina's to see about getting Bleach to work on an idea I had. My wife has terminal cancer and I wanted to get a memorial tattoo.

I went to St. Sabrina's on a whim for my birthday. I've wanted my nipples pierced for years and finally got the guts to do so. The front desk staff was great and helped me pick out my jewelry. Jamie Clark was my piercer and he was so professional! Even with my boobs out he looked at me straight in the eye which I very much appreciated, haha. He made the experience so comfortable. I love this place and plan on NEVER going anywhere else!

I was planning to get a piercing done for a long time, and finally got the guts to get my navel pierced. My friend recommended Saint Sabrina's. After scheduling and re-scheduling 3 times (which they were soooo awesome about!!), I finally went and got the piercing. The staff was very friendly and informative. They helped me pick the perfect jewlery for my body and sense of style. They have a great collection and hundreds of types to choose from. They were also very knowledgeable about maintenance and care during the healing process as well.

The rooms were private and very clean. The guy that did my piercing, Nate, was very professional and laid back - helping me calm my nerves. The process was very quick and easy. No doubt I'll be coming back soon and recommending Saint Sabrina's to all my friends too!!

I went into Saint Sabrina's with two friends- one was getting a tattoo and one was getting a piercing. I wasn't in the market for a tattoo at that time but I wanted to check it out for the next tattto I got. All of the people there were so friendly and welcoming. They were emaculately clean- everything was sterile and opened in front of you so you have no doubts about cleanliness. This is definitely the place I will be going for my next tattoo/piercing and I can't wait!!

Came in two separate times, once for each side of my nose. The staff is extremely kind & helpful. Great selection of jewelry & good prices. First time I got Jake & second time I got Nate. They're both amazing and made everything virtually painless. The shop is immaculate and sanitized. Will def be coming back again!

I have used St. Sabrina's several times for piercings and have only had positive experiences. My first was my tongue piercing 6-7 years ago and although I am unable to remember the piercer, I do know the experience was quick, clean and painless.

Based upon that epxerience, I decided to use St. Sabrina's again for nipple piercings and then a triple naval a month ago. Each piercing is magnificent and each healed/healing well. Not to name drop too much, but Nate is a fantastic piercer and he deserves his name dropped. Nate is professional and amiable, making the piercing experience everything it should be.

At this point, I only recommend St. Sabrina's when asked about piercings and this establishment truly deserves it. And the new location is fabulous. Spacious, clean and welcoming. Thank you St. Sabrina's for everything and you'll be seeing more of me!

For my sixteenth birthday I got a monroe piercing at Saint Sabrina's. They were super professional, and helped me pick out my jewelry and answer all my questions. They wear gloves, use an autoclave and open all the packages right in front of you, so you know everything is incredibly sterile. The store is not threatening at all, like many other piercing and tattoo parlors, and piercing isn't just an after thought like it seems to be at many other tattoo and piercing parlors. I also needed to get the bar shortened in my monroe twice, and each time I didn't even need to make an appointment, and yet I got helped really quickly with maybe a five minute wait maximum. I definitely recommend them, and I plan on going there for all my future piercings and tattoos.

I have had 3 piercings done at St. Sabrina's for my past three birthdays. They are so professional. In some ways it is almost like a trip to the doctor's office (except fun!). The place is clean and well lit unlike other places. Everything is sterilized, gloves are worn and they unwrap packaging in front of you. I've worked with both Jake and Nate and found them patient and friendly. The front desk staff are great too. The decor is beautiful and they always have a lot of great jewelery to pick from. I don't think I could go anywhere else.

I love Saint Sabrina's! I got my nose pierced at a different tattoo/piercing shop, and I completely regret not getting it done at Saint Sabrina's instead. Even when I had a problem with it earlier this summer, the entire staff was completely willing to see me and try to help. They fit me in to see a piercer without having an appointment and Nate was extremely helpful! I later got my belly button pierced at Saint Sabrina's and it turned out perfect! The piercer, Jamie, was very knowledgable about what he was doing, and he was super patient with me as I picked out my jewlery and worried about how bad it would hurt. It was completely painless and it's been doing great! Everyone that works at Saint Sabrina's is soooo welcoming, warm, and friendly. I haven't found that at any other tattoo/piercing shop that I've been to. They're all open for questions and they never make you feel like you're in a rush even when there's a lot of people waiting. The shop is insanely sanitary and clean, and it's also great for hanging out in when your friends are getting something done :)

Several years ago I had surgery that left me with a 20 each scar wrapping around the left side of my body. As soon as the incision healed I knew I wanted to get a tattoo over it as a way to reclaim the way my body looked. It took me 7 years to figure out exactly what I wanted, however.

Once I had finally decided on the image I needed to figure out where to go to have it done. A friend had gotten her first tattoo at St. Sabrina's last summer and I thought I might as well get a quote from there since I couldn't remember the name of the artist who had done my first one 15 years ago. I knew St. Sabrina's had been around for a long time and most people I knew that had somthing done there were pleased with the service they had gotten. I went thinking I would get a quote from the same artist that had done my friend's tattoo last summer, but ended up getting one from Mike instead. I was a bit nervous about what he would actually come up with for a design, as well as the experience as getting a tattoo the size of what I was asking for.

I could not be more happy with the way it has turned out. I am in awe of Mike's talent and the beauty of the piece he has created for me. Everyone I show if to also comments on the exquisite detail that he has captured..

Thank you, Mike, for taking my rather vague request and creating something that I love and will bring me joy for a lifetime.

Husband and I are not the typical piercing/tatoo clientel.
We are older professionals. However, Nate made us feel right at home when contemplating our piercings and was very professional and honest. We did not feel out of place generationally at all. His philosophy on piercing and other body ornamentation and art is similiar to our own and made us feel very comfortable. One of us had an issue with a piercing that was not related at all to the establishment's hygien/sterilaiztion practices or Nate's ability. Again he made us feel that all would be well and there may be other options for location on that particular one. Looking forward to our next experience as soon as we can decide on what the next piercings will be.

We have no experience with the tatoo artists there, but I am sure that we will in the future.

I had a tattoo idea in mind for over 2 years and it was time to get it. After checking out the website, I decided Bleach was the guy to do it. I went in, told them what I wanted, and a couple days later was in for the ink.

This wasn't a small piece. A spinal bone structure on my back, from above my butt up to my neck. I was surprised at how quickly Bleach worked. The tattoo only took a little over 2 hours. He did an AWESOME job! I was stoked to see it when he was finished and still get excited to look at it when I can.

I got this tattoo a little over a month ago and it healed great. I did baby the crap out of it however. The price wasn't bad for a custom job either. Oh yeah, and the ladies who work in the front of the shop are easy to work with as well. They know what they're talking about.

Definitely recommend this place.

A week ago i decided to get my belly button pierced. I walked in and was immediately greeted by the staff. I only waited for 20 minutes. Nick was the piercer who helped me. He was confident, he explained the whole process to me since i was pretty nervous. He was quick, it didn't hurt AT ALL, and the best part was he did a perfect job. I was a perfectly straight pierce, and I LOVE it. I'm glad I chose to go there, because even though it's a little more expensive, it was worth it to me to be in a clean sterile environment, and get a straight and painless piercing. It's been a week now and the piercing still does not hurt, it hasn't gotten infected. I had a great experience at Saint Sabrina's. You should go there for your piercings, and ask for Nick.

The price was too high and the work was very amature-ish. The service was beyond horrible. I've never had to deal with such condescending douchebags before and I am heavily tattooed. I have now made an appointment at a different shop to have the one I got at saint sabrina's fixed. Money & time down the drain. I will never go back to that cesspool!

I was pierced by Nate. I wanted to get my nipples pierced, and am not an exhibitionist- He didn't make me feel awkward and was completely professional. He was very friendly and very helpful. He answered every question that I had and thought to tell me things that I hadn't thought of yet. I called ahead to make an appointment. THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA!!! If you just take the 5 minutes to call down and see when they're open for appointments it makes it a much smoother process than just walking in. Please be advised of the cost. If you want a cheap piercing this is not the place to go. They have reasonable piercing fees, but they're jewelry is expensive- not without good reason though, it's top of the line jewelry. Overall I had a great experience getting my piercings.

This was awhile ago, so maybe I'm behind the times, but I went to St Sabrina's for my first two tattoos. The first one was on the my lower back, and it is so scarred that the tattoo is raised up an 1/8th of an inch all the time, and if it's humid, 1/4 of an inch. It is visible at all times that the tattoo is raised up and bad. No way to remove it or change it.
I didn't know any better at the time, and I went back for my second tattoo, on my upper back. The lines were so shakey and terrible that I have had to have the entire thing re-done. So essentially I paid for it twice, because I wasn't going to go back to the same guy.
On the other hand, every time I got pierced there it was good. None of the piercers I used to go to work there anymore.

I went to get transverse lobe piercings (both ears). I had never been to Sabrina's before and didn't feel overwhelmingly welcomed or anything, but the lady that I talked to at the desk was very sweet and helpful. She made sure to explain briefly what jewelry options I'd have and made me feel comfortable prior to meeting the piercer (Jake). Jake was wonderful and super clean and professional. He made sure to ensure me of his experience (and proved it with the amazing accuracy of the job) and answered all my random questions. He was great with working with me and my first piercing and everything went smoothly. He explained aftercare and such without my needing to ask, which was good (he also gave me his business card with my jewelry gauge size, date and his hours). The cost was what I expected, though I still don't know exactly how much the jewelry was (I could do the math). Overall, I had a very comfortable and fun experience with Jake and Saint Sabrina's.

I was recommended here by the concierge of the W Hotel. When I walked in I was ever so impressed. Very clean and comfortable. I wanted to get a tattoo. The word "love" on my wrist. I was quoted $175 which I thought was a little steep, I figured it's a lifetime investment so I'll go for it. They got me in within a half hour of waiting so I was happy. The artist brought me to his room and within 15 minutes he was done. I took the bandage off the next day and to my surprise it was not a quality job. It's been 3 weeks and it looks like an amateur did it. The lines are shaky, The ink is fading, and everyone thinks it reads "Lave." I am very disappointed in their work and I don't recommend going to this place. I should have looked at their portfolio first but I was caught up in how "nice" the place looked. I have an appointment to get my tattoo laser removed. Save yourself from the heartache and embarrassment. STAY AWAY from Saint Sabrinas!

At first I was a little hesitant to step back into Saint Sabrinas after a bad experience 4 years ago. I got a tattoo from an artist that hated life and their job. Since then I started going to a Leviticus and worked with an artist (Kyle) who unfortunately disappeared a few months ago. I was now without a tattoo artist that I trusted and felt comfortable with. Being a hair stylist I notice peoples tattoos all the time. Ironically there were a lot of people that were telling me to go check out this new guy they have at Saint Sabrinas. Some Hawaiian artist named Jon Boy. I met Jon Boy and instantly we had a connection! He loved the tattoos I had and was into the same traditional style tattooing! Jon Boy really loves what he does and I highly recommend him! My tattoo is perfect and not a day goes by I don't get complimented!

I have been a customer of St. Sabrina's for several years now. I've had a couple of piercings done there, but most of my experience has been with tattoos. I have had work done by Jeremy, Bleach and Mike and I have been very happy with all my tattoos, whether they have been small and simple or larger and more-involved pieces.

In reading some other reviews, I'm surprised to hear of complaints about the customer service. Any time I've gone in (and it's been quite a few), whoever has been working the counter has helped me very quickly and has always been very friendly when doing it.

There was one time I had to wait longer than I really would have liked, but I didn't have an appointment and there were others already ahead of me.

Overall I like going to St. Sabrina's and I will keep going back.

The only thing I would go to Saint Sabrina??s for is a Tattoo, but don??t expect to be helped by the shop girls. I??m very disappointed in the lack of Customer Service skills the desk help and piercers posses. I witnessed the desk help give ??fake time?? after ??fake time?? to numerous people that came in to be pierced or have piercings removed. If the desk help were honest with customer??s about how long they will have to wait and didn??t overbook the piercers, people would be so irritated when they finally are helped. In my case ?? if they would have listened to me up front, I wouldn??t have even had to wait the 1 and 25 minutes I had to wait (after being told it would be 20-40 minutes) they could have retained me as a customer. In the end ?? I waited for nothing because the piercer wouldn??t do my piercing. Had the desk help listened while I filled out my paperwork, they could have had the piercer take a look and tell me if he thought it was an option or not. Not only was the piercer cocky ?? he didn??t seem like he had a clue. He didn??t listen to anything I said ?? he had already made up his mind. When the 'manager' stepped in to help, she immediately said the piercer was right without listening to any of my complaints. Then they sent me away with a $10 coupon ?? anyone want it? Way to try to pay people off to keep them happy. Unless I can apply it to my next tattoo, I won??t be using it! Until they have some positive turnover with their front desk staff and they hire a competent piercer, I won??t be going back or referring anyone there for a piercing.

Pros: Tattoo Artists are great!

Cons: Desk Help and Piercers are clueless

Before deciding where to get my tattoo, I went online and researced many artists. One that I found to be especially talented was bleach. So I brought my tattoo design, which was a simple phrase in Latin. When I went in to the actual parlor, I was astounded at how rude the woman at the service counter. She told me it would cost nearly twice of what another place cost me. However, was I was eager to get tattooed by this paticular artist, so I tried to get over it. When I then asked if I could make an appointment with bleach, the lady told me that "um, bleach doesn't tattoo hips." l was astounded because she was honestly trying to make me feel stupid. Not to mention I don't understand the reasoning behind it, but whatever. What suprised me the most was that the lady then also says to me with my sketch of words in Latin, "what does this even mean?" I then proceeded to leave the store. I wouldn't recommend this place, great artists, bad service, rude people. You are paying nearly twice the value to be treated like an idiot. But then again, where else would the money for the d?cor and plasmas come from?

A bit over a year ago now, I went in to get my nose ring done. I was nervous because I don't fit the "punk rock" standard and I hate putting up with places that shun you because you don't fit their stereotype.

However, all of my anxiousness was shattered as soon as I walked in. Though the staff definitely fit the punk stereotype appearance-wise, they were friendly and very thorough in explaining what I needed to do. My piercer was Jamie (who's no longer there, unfortunately) and was very friendly and good at explaining what he was doing while he was doing it. My wait was short and I was hugely pleased.

I went back a number of months later to get the properly-sized ring and had the same experience with friendliness and professionalism.

My last tattoo had been done at a different location before my piercing and I was convinced I would be going back to that original location. Because of my great experiences with Saint Sabrina's, though, I'm definitely planning to go back for all my tattoos.

I definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in getting a tattoo or piercing.

Unlike many of the other reviewers, I found the counter staff to be friendly and helpful. I scheduled an appointment for the next day and left my deposit with a tentative price range of $80-100 for a simple block letter word on my wrist.

By the time I got to my appointment, the cost was $120 for something I am sure would have been another shop's $60 minimum rate. I felt a little ripped off but had my mind set on a tattoo that day so I sucked it up. I also talked him (Bleach) into touching up another black word tattoo. If he had not done that for me, I would have completely resented the fee.

Bleach gave me no aftercare instructions without my prompting, and no courteous reminder to come in for a touch up if his work was uneven. I will not go back!

pros-clean, red lollipops like at the doctor's office, comfortable wait area.
cons-arrogant artist, little in way of service, at least 40% mark up from what I would get at Uptown Tattoo.

We went in and we made to wait for more than 2 hours, after being told it would be 15 minutes. When we finally complained, they were like oh, you're next.
Very pricey, small selection.
Just don't seem that concerned. We left with the feeling that if you don't have the right "look" to them, they won't bother with you.

Saint Sabrina's has been my choice for piercings since my first time. I had my septum done in Madison, WI and a Madison (horizontal bar at bottom of neck) piercing also. I walked in to get my septum stretched by Jamie Clark, who now works in Albuquerque. Jamie noted that I might need to change the bar size in my Madison. I ended up going back to Jamie because he made me comfortable and he's extremely goodlooking. He did 12 piercings on me, all surface piercings but 1. Unfortunately, Minneapolis no longer has him, but I would still recommend St. Sabrina's. They have a HUGE jewelry selection, including lots of organics. I've never had any problems with the front desk and I go in there a lot. I recommend NATE for your piercing needs. He is fun, wants to make his clients feel comfortable, and knows his stuff. All of the piercers are members of the Association of Professional Piercers which makes sure the piercers are knowledgeable. I know Jesika, Jamie also, has taught classes. If you're a women getting a genital piercing, Jesika is well trained in that. If you're a man getting a genital piercing, go to Nate. Derek is also extremely well trained and professional. Go here, for sure. As for tattoos, I have one done by Mike the Face, and it is good. good ink and doesn't take forever. I've had tattoo artists take FOREVER. The front desk knows a lot about jewelry and what will work, as well as what will not.

To be perfectly honest, I have no idea what all of the people complaining about the front desk have had problems with. I gave Sabrina's a call about a tat I want to get - the lady on the phone was very pleasant and helpful - and I had nothing but the same when I actually brought my sketch down to look into getting the ink done. Everyone was very helpful and nice.

I spoke with Jon about getting a rather detailed ouroboros done - the price was a little higher than I had anticipated - but intricate tribal blackwork can be pricey. He discussed with me a couple of different options to bring the cost down - and all in all I was very pleased with the experience.

While I haven't had the tat done yet, I can certainly vouch for the helpfulness of the front desk staff and Jon specifically. Take the negatives with a grain of salt and give them a call or head down there.

I'd like to start off by saying that I have tattoos from my knees to my hips as well as full sleeves and a back piece. I am no stranger to tattoo shops, and have been tattooed in more states than most people have ever even visited. In all of my wanderings and tattooings I have never, in my life, encountered a tattoo shop as horrible as Saint Sabrinas. The staff is rude as well as completely ignorant about anything other than whether or not one of the other counter workers is going to go get coffee, or lunch (the topics of choice when I stopped in) and they are the most disorganized group of people I have ever seen left in charge of a tattoo parlor. I have to wonder if the owner of the shop ever bothers to check on her employees, or check back with her guests to see if they are satisfied with the service they are receiving. On top of that, they are outrageously priced for a parlor with such low level quality of service. To complete a design on my chest (a mirror image of what I have on the other side) they wanted triple what the first one cost (which I also received in a MN parlor, that met me with MUCH greater respect and knowledge from the moment I walked through the door to the moment I left).

This place is not only a rip off, it is an insult to tattoo culture and sincere tattoo parlors, artists, and admirerers accross the globe. Save yourself the waste of time and look up Electric Dragonland, A+ or ANY of the quieter shops, you get better service, better prices, and a MUCH better tattoo for your dollar.

Ambiance was great! Staff was friendly and helpful! I went for my first piercing other than my earlobes, and it was amazing! Jesika pierced my nostril, and I barely knew she was done! She did a wonderful job, and made me feel at ease and comfortable.
They had a good selction of jewelry to choose from as well. People say that St. Sabrina's is over priced, and they may be a little more expensive than some of the hole-in-the-wall piercing places, but I am perfectly willing to pay a little extra for cleanliness and expirienced and knowledgeable piercers!!!
If I ever get another piercing, I will definately go there. I will also be back for the next tattoo that I get!
Love you Saint Sabrina's! Thank you for a job well done!

I used to go to St. Sabrina's for everything, clothing, piercings and tattoos. They have always been a little elitest, but since they moved, I can't stand to go in there. The counter staff are bitchy and just horrible. I do not need some condesending girl behind the counter judging me if I need a new navel barbell and don't know the exact size. I won't be going back, ever.

I went to Saint Sabrina's to get my first tattoo a couple months ago. Overall the experience was average at best. The people working the counter should be fired. They are extremely pompous and rude and horribly judgmental. Once I managed to get past them however, it went pretty good. My artist (Jeremy) was really cool- my design was simple and he made me feel comfortable and did the job very nicely. I went back there a couple weeks ago to get my second tattoo. Again, the employees working the front desk were awful. They wouldn't let me talk to an artist about what I wanted and acted completely arrogant and rude. I wish so much that I could skip talking with those horrible people and just talk to Jeremy. I had a couple pictures and a clear idea of what I wanted my tattoo to look like and the girl at the front just flat out told me that they don't do custom work and that I should just pick something out of a book. Horrible customer service. I will not be going back to Saint Sabrina's again.

I have been looking forward to getting my first tattoo. St Sabrina was recommended to me by a friend. I went in and looked around. I loved the atmosphere. It was clean and I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. THe staff seemed very friendly. I looked around and decided I would make an appointment. They told me based on the tattoo I described to them I should come in on Saturday because no appointment was necessary. Great. I left and came back on Saturday. I arrived around noon and gave them my ID and filled out the necessary paperwork. I am now very excited and sit down to wait for my name to be called. I was 30 minutes away from my first tattoo or so I thought. I waited and waited and waited and waited. And then I waited some more. After an hour and a half I went up to the front desk to see what the status was. When will I get in?? The woman behind the desk told me about a half an hour. What? Are you kidding me? I was in disbelief and a little annoyed but I sat down and waited again. Another 30 minutes went by and still nothing. By this time I was angry and frustrated. I don't understand how they can tell you 30 minutes and not even be bothered to walk ten steps over to me to say what was going on or that it is going to take longer than expected. Something? Anything?? I got nothing. You fooled me this time but you won't fool me again. I will go get my tattoo someplace else but I will never go St. Sabrina's again. I wish there was an option to rate a big fat zero!

I just spent most of a Saturday afternoon here. A friend was going for her first tattoo. She had checked out the place before, and tried to make an appointment, but they said that since she wanted a farily simple design, she should just walk in on a Saturday.

We showed up about 12:15. It wasn't too busy, and the staff seemed nice. The place seemed clean. All is good, right? wrong. We were told it would be 1/2 hour, so we sat down and waited.

over the next 2 hours, we saw a number of customers come through. Saint Sabrina's wants to profit on volume, obviously. They hastily process simple requests, piercings, etc. Amazing how quickly they were able to get these types of customers in and out. We patiently watied, and asked about the delay. Another 1/2 hour... as we watched yet another customer be processed ahead of us, we decided to bag it. The longer we waited, the less comfortable we were with having any work done here -- based on the overheard comments from other cutomers.

My friend walked up, told the person she signed up with that she was tired of waiting. The response -- a shrug and an "OK". As she walked out he said "Who were you again?". We had to laugh.

Save yourself some time, and future misery -- go somewhere else.

I hope you never decide that your skin is safe in the hands of St. Sabrina. I went there armed with a portfolio of drawings and pictures and sat down with mike, the artist who was supposed to do my tattoo. I told him, in detail, exactly what I wanted and showed him MANY pictures and sketches. he gave me a time frame of one month and a price of $1800. After the month I called to see the progress on my drawing and he hadn't even begun it yet. I gave it another month and when I called back they said he was only partially finished I decided I wanted to see it anyway and it was nowhere NEAR what I asked for. What he drew was an eagle with a large head and paws when I was aiming for a dainty griffin. The wings were feathers when i had specifically stated that I wanted them to look more like wind gusts. the tail looked like a hawk tail, roughly 2 inches long, when I had given him handfuls of drawings of peacock feathers and made it very clear that I wanted the tail to be more peacock like and at least 6-8" in length. I wrote down everything that was wrong, printed out the original pictures i had given him again and gave it 2 wks (since even my appointment date had now come and gone) I called back and he hadnt done a thing. I gave it another 2 wks (now 3 MONTHS for ONE drawing) I went in to see it and the only thing that he had changed was add more details in to the FEATHERS of the wings and made the hawk tail longer by roughly 2".
Just so you know that I wasnt being hyper demanding or too critical of this piece I brought the same exact pictures to a different shop that night, described it in exactly the same way and the artist had the drawing done in 3 days, charged me 800 (as opposed to the 1800 I wouldve paid at st sabrinas) and was done tattooing in 2.5 hours from start to finish (opposed to the 2 4hour sessions st. sabrinas wanted to do!!) AND the artwork I ended up getting was above and beyond anything I had ever seen come out of st sabrinas. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Pros: Sunken glory is cool.

Cons: You'll probably be old anddying before you ever make it in to the tattoo chair!!!

.

It is a complete rip-off to begin with.
They charged a $100 or just three tiny stars on my shoulder blade.
The location is nice and the ambience is decent. But whats the point cuz it barely took 5 mins to complete the job on my body and I got ripped off.
The staff is kinda ok, not that friendly or not very rude either. I guess they just have a 'dont-care' attitude.

My son went in on his 18th birthday. They took a $50 deposit for a $500 tattoo (more about that later) and scheduled him for a couple days later for a 7-letter word. He went in for his tattoo and brought his high school picture ID and his certified birth certificate. They would not accept his ID as proof of being 18 nor would they return his deposit. They should've verified ID BEFORE they took the deposit. I tried to call them using the number on their receipt: No surprise here, but the number was not a working phone number.

They were very, VERY unfriendly and not helpful at all when he was trying to pick a font. In fact, they downright refused to give him ANY input on choices.

Flash forward: Son goes to Ace Tattoo in Golden Valley where my older son goes and was treated very nicely. He got the SAME tattoo Sabrina's was going to do for less than half of what Sabrina's quoted him. They accepted his high school picture ID and certified birth certificate as proof of being 18. And they were very helpful and personable to him.

Don't waste your time with those jokers at Sabrina's.... Miami Ink wannabes. What a bunch of jerks.

I would like to say that I enjoyed my visit to saint sabrinas however aside from the cleanliness, i was not impressed. My friend and I went into saint sabrinas about five days before my 18th birthday, to schedule our appointments for tattoos to be done on my birthday. We walked in and were told to look through the books for fonts and other interesting things. I wanted to get "<3 aimer" on my left arm as well as another small tattoo on my foot. First, i did not get to make mine very unique because they asked me to find a font i liked. Then as I asked the woman for a quote she passed the paper of just the "<3 aimer" to the man i suppose would have tattooed me, he took one glance at it and said $100. Did NOT look up at me, did not say his name, there was nothing personal about it. I sucked it up and put down my fifty dollar deposit, so did my friend, then we left. Later we heard about a different shop, we checked it out, and decided to call and cancel with sabrinas. although i lost my fifty dollar deposit, both my tattoos ended up being half the price. Seriously- my "<3aimer" tattoo is smaller than a paper clip! And if you decide to get a tattoo make sure it is a pleasant and friendly experience. I do not recommend sabrinas for that place.

I got my ears pierced by Jesika at St. Sabrina's. Jesika and the other staff were very nice and professional, and Jesika did a great job with my piercings. The piercing room at St. Sabrina's was very clean. I liked the modern design and bright red accents of the interior of St. Sabrina's. I'll definately go back to Jesika at St. Sabrina's if I want another piercing.

I come once a year to MN from Kansas City. Every summer has some new fun find for me. This time it happened to be a fantastic place called Saint Sabrina's in Uptown. I knew I wanted to do something really fun, now that I had missed out on the Sounds of the Underground tour, and I was especially bummed about missing out on my favorite band = Darkest Hour. Well, I needed a pick me up. I decided to go out on a whim and get a new piercing. Realize that I have 4 facial piercings already, and it has been some 4 or 5 years since I have been stuck with a needle. So yea, I was nervous. By the time I made it to the top of the stairs to the first floor, i saw beautiful cases of jewelry and a WONDERFUL staff. Liz was so helpful and answered all my silly little questions. Jake, who pierced my cartilage for an industrial, was absolutely amazing. He shook my hand, answered my questions, talked to me which was ever so comforting. He was such a nice guy. The room he works in was on the second floor. Yea, a second floor which was just as beautiful as the first. His room was clean as can be. It had a lovely view of Hennepin Ave. I snuck a couple of peaks in the tattoo rooms, and everything was just lovely. The piercing itself wasnt terrible at all. I was completely surprised and throughly impressed. He answered the rest of my questions and then took a quick picture with me, which i greatly apreciated!! I cannot wait to come back to visit MN next year. I hope everyone i met today will still be there. Thanks guys!!!!!!!!
