Pretty much any kind of sausage, cut, chop, rib or cutlet can be found at the deli counter, along with a fine spread of baked goods and imported grocery items. And the BIG portions you get in the restaurant side of the store are well worth the money...most single-serving meals could amply feed two people!

Sit & have a beer or glass of wine with your meal while admiring the mosaic of the Statue of Liberty, or get it (the meal, not the mosaic of the Statue of Liberty) wrapped up for the journey home. Your food'll make it back to your place hot, fresh & without spilling all over the inside of your car. This might seem like an odd thing to mention, but they package their take-away orders really well.

This is by far the best Polish sausage that I have had anywhere in the country... I ship it to friends as gifts and order it myself. I live in Carefree, AZ. but its truly is worth it.....

This is the best place for sausage and meats in the U.S. It is on a par with a "metzgerei" in Germany.

I live 90 miles away, but make it a point to stop there whenever I can.

Pros: Strictly superb quality. No shortcuts evident.

Cons: Only one location.

I don't know what to say about this place, how could I have never rated it before?! It is the best deli with so many kinds of sausage that its hard to pick one type.

Kramarczuk's serves tasty, substantial Eastern European food. Our family especially likes the pierogies. Occasionally I'll pick up a couple dozen (cold) and cook them at home. Yum. Aside from eating in the restaurant, I shop in the deli. Several varieties of sausage are what I usually buy. There's also baked goods and some imported and unusual food items available. Check it out.

We love Kramarczuk's and regularly drag our friends from out of town there. The food is always tons more than I can eat so we usually get enough orders for two less people and share between us all. Their borscht is great; even my youngest son likes it. They have several different types of sausage so it's a dilemma which kind to get.

This is my favorite place in the Twin Cities. It has a cafeteria-style food line of Polish and Czeck food. Don't be mistaken....the atmosphere is sort-of upscale/relaxed/chic diner.
It is all so yummy. If you are with people who are not adventurous with eating...there are plenty of American-type dishes to select from as well. The Polish sausage should not be missed. They also have a chocolate cake made from crushed nuts that is so unique and rich. Honestly the best cake I have ever eaten.
This place is an experience. There is a really cute deli attached to it... that is so fun to shop in. If you're looking for a place to take out-of-town people....this is perfect because it is unique.

Pros: unique ethnic food with lots of American selections too. Very affordable trendy lunch

Cons: cafeteria-style food line may not appeal to those wanting an intimate dining experience

The portions are large and food tastes homemade - like what your mom would make if she was Polish. I had the cabbage roll and sauerkraut - comforting and satisfying. My fiance had a sandwhich (with Krakowska meat, which I recommend - very good garlic flavor. We are definetly going back to try more dishes!

A favorite for many years, Kramarczuk's is a meat market and cafeteria-style restaurant. Recently updated inside (unfortunately reflected in higher prices), the food is still great. You'll find several types of sausages to eat there or take home, peirogi, pastries and some imported hard-to-find foods. Our favorites include the caraway rye bread, the Ukrainian sausage and the cream cheese kolaches.

PROS: Authentic Eastern European food.
CONS: Pricier than it used to be.

Talk about comfort food... The Golabki and Pierogi are the best in the Twin Cities. These are 2 of my favorite comfort foods. It makes you feel all warm and fuzzy, especially on a dreary day! Then you can go to the butcher shop and get some Fresh Ukranian Sausage (the Polish Sausage I grew up with) to take home!
