They did a great job with tires and the discount was very good. I love that they did a free tire rotation. They treated me very well. I will come back here to get my new tires.

This place is fantastic. I have visited this location on at least six occasions over the past seven years. On four visits, they told me that I did not need services I thought I needed. I do a lot of my own work on my car so I do somewhat know what I am doing. One time I was convinced it was a water pump, they inspected and it was a hose, instead of around $400, it cost me about $75. Another time, I had some leaks in the radiator that I could not locate, they repaired them in 10 minutes and charged me $19. Recently, I dropped off my car for a brake job, again they told me I did not need some of the service I thought I did and even better, the sales guy gave me a ride home, on his own time. Also, they could not finish by closing time and instead of making me wait until the next day, they stayed late and finished it that night.

I have found all of their work to be first rate, and that on each occasion they have been very ethical. I recommend them to anyone.

I bought tires from these people in the fall and opted not to buy the insurance. I regretted giving them my address as I did not see how it was relevant except for advertising. Well there is another reason. It seems in a recession people get desperate. I found the salesman in my driveway planting a screw underneath my car to get me to come back and buy new tires after I would find the flat. I have reported this salesman to the BBB and of course will not be going back.

I brought in my car to have them remove one of my wheels (to be sent to another location for repair) and to mount the spare tire. My car was in their shop for about 45 minutes. Afterwards, upon reaching home I noticed a large dent in the bottom edge of the driver's side door, accompanied by a large white scratch. This most definitely was not there before. I drove back to the facility and reported the damage to the manager. He visually looked over the damage to the door and denied that they had caused it. He refused to take any responsibility and would not agree to cover the repair costs. I am now looking at a $500 deductible if I use my insurance to repair the damage to the door. I wish I had never taken my vehicle her for servicing.

Initially my 2nd experience with the Roseville (MN) Tires Plus - a simple flat tire change - seemed stellar (no charge), compared to the first ($1400 suggested list of mostly unneeded or mis-diagnosed repairs).

But nine days after the tire change, my car started shuddering and making loud noises from the rear suspension area. I nursed it to my destination and brought it to an independent repair shop the next business day. They found that NONE of the lug nuts were properly tightened, and the wheel was wobbling on the axle. That it didn't simply fall off was just shy of a miracle.

Take heed of the other reviews. This business tried to up sell us on several services we didn't need. We picked them on-line due to an emergency flat tire on our daughter's car while we were out of state. After they got the car, they told us they couldn't fix the tire, we needed 4 new tires because all the tires were bald, the tie rods were bad, the transmission fluid needed changing, and the car needed an oil change. I'm surprised they didn't offer a paint job. We bought the tires to make sure our daughter was safe, although we knew they were not bald as we just checked them in October. They charged us over $500, and had we bought into the other unneeded repairs, they would have charged another $400+ just for the tie rods. We had our daughter take the vehicle to our regular repair shop the same night. The tie rods were just fine, the transmission fluid was perfect, and she had just had an oil change a month ago. While we feel ripped off on the tires, we will make sure other people know about this. We will report them to the Better Business Bureau, and eventually this kind of behavior will be stopped. It's sad that businesses such as this one prey on vulnerable situations like a flat tire. My advice is go anywhere else but Tires Plus Roseville for your service.

I had scheduled a pre-purchase car inspection for a BMW to be done. I was told that that would be no problem. i arrived 10 minutes early and dropped off the car. The service representative Beth told me that the inspection would be completed within an hour and half. I left and came back an hour later and the car was still sitting in the parking lot waiting its turn. I talked to the manager told me my car wouldn't be getting in for a minimum of a half hour and then the inspection would take another half hour to an hour. That was not going to work because I had borrowed the car from the owner and had to return it promptly. Also, it was hard for the owner and myself to workout a time that would work where I could take the car, get it inspected and return it.Bottom line: I was very disappointed and was left with the impression that they work hard, but if your concerned about time in the slightest, their tendency to slightly overbook them selves with that small garage can be frustrating. I left and went to baber auto next door.

I needed a flat tire patched recently. They gave me the runaround about how it was "unsafe" and other nonsense and then tried to sell me a whole new set of tires even though mine were only a year old.

I know tires very well indeed, and I know what the safe zone is for patching. These guys just aren't very honest. They knew it would be a safe patch--but they tried to scare me into new tires. In addition, they charged too much for the patch after I made it clear I wasn't buying new tires.

Mind you, I brought the tire into the store on the wheel, they didn't even need to take it off the car.

When I was there I witnessed them pretty badly fleece a woman over
some suspension items. I won't say they are actually dishonest--just that they are less honest than they could be if they wanted solid repeat business. At the very least they should get some sense

These people are dishonest. I had a flat and a dead battery this winter and was towed to them and I didn't have an issue with the tire repair they did, but I told them I had left my lights on by accident which ruined a fairly new battery in the cold, which was my fault. The manager at Tires Plus suggested I go back to the Checker auto next door (where I got the battery) and just say it wasn't working and not mention that I'd let it drain down by leaving my lights on. I said to him, "Yea, I could do that.. if I wanted to be completely unethical." and he smirked at me and said, "You're sweet..." like I was a complete fool. I also overheard the mechanic from the back saying they could try and repair my flat tire, and the manager told him no, put a new one on before he even asked me. Take your business elsewhere.

I just recently had my 1st oil change at Tires Plus (1331 W. Larpenteur Ave Roseville, MN). The service was done quickly and efficiently. After driving down the road for about 10 miles I noticed that my vehicle was making a different noise and the lingering oil smell had not subsided. I pulled over in the middle of the freezing night to check my engine and I felt oil everywhere. I quickly called the store manager "Leon" and he had me drive back. Upon returning, they checked the engine under a light and noticed the oil cap was not put back on. They apologized and told me that mistakes happen. This being my first experience at Tires Plus I was unsatisfied with his answer and asked to speak with the manager for my money back. He apologized and concluded that a service was rendered and he was unable to return my money. I explained to him that his service was done poorly and not satisfactory and that my car smelled of oil now and could have been extremely hazardous had I not caught the problem. He apologized and kept reiterating that mistakes happen. Eventually he offered me a complimentary oil change in the future. I asked him why I would ever come back to Tires Plus in the future if they treated their customers like so. We spoke upon the subject for about 45 minutes until he finally said if I was unsatisfied to call the Store Manager the next day. I was very disappointed and will probably never return to this establishment again or any Tires Plus locations for that matter. Leon made a very poor decision by not correcting the mistake and has now lost a Tires Plus customer for life. I hope that not all of their managers are this incapable of correcting these types of matters. I understand that mistakes happen and we are all human but for a manager like Leon to blow it off like it was a normal everyday occurrence has left a sour taste in my experience with Tires Plus.

I was visiting a friend and as I left I heard a terrible sound coming from a tire. I discovered my tire was flat and remembered there was a tires Plus a couple blocks away and I decided to drive there when my muscles couldn't loosen the bolts. Bad choice. That trip wrecked the tire so it couldn't be repaired. I didn't have the means to buy a new tire with me, but they put my spare on for free even though they knew I would probably not come all that way back when I could buy a new tire.
