Hudson's Ace Hardware

Jim Hudson has owned this store ever since I moved to south Minneapolis and I have always recieved the best of service, help and selection. One of the staff took 30 minutes to teach me how to install plumbing for my entire bathroom I had just remodeled. She taught me well and now I am confidentant enough to do plumbing work on my 1920s bungelow! Even though Ace can be a bit pricer than other big box retailors they save me by assisting me to do it myself.

They're the most helpful staff of any hardware store I've been to. I've been going there for years, because they always have a product, solution, etc. They're so honest. Even if they don't have something in stock, they can help you figure something out with what they do have, or even send you to another place that does have what you need. The last time I was there, they didn't have a couple items I was looking for, but called the nearest Ace Hardware, and had the stuff delivered to their store within the hour!!! Now that's service!!! Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars, is because the tool and supply prices can't compete with the National chains. Otherwise, they'd get a 6 star rating from me.
