Dec 2014, my Kia Ronda would not drive above 10 m/h. A local shop diagnosed the problem as a computer program issue. They advised me that only a KIA dealership could update the computer. They gave me the repair codes in writing, but also left the codes in the car's computer, and instructed me to bring the car to KIA.
I went to Jeff Belzer's KIA immediately, arriving within 20-30 minutes. The gentleman in the service department refused to accept the codes from the other repair shop. He said they were understaffed and didn't know when the car would be done. He couldn't get a loaner car for me or a provide ride to work. He directed me to a lounge that had no working phone.
When I picked up the car several hours later, the invoice listed all the repair codes that the first shop had given to me. The KIA mechanics hadn't had to do any new diagnostics at all, but I was still changed $129.
I wrote a letter to the attention of the Service Manager in January 2014, asking for a refund of the $129. I received no reply. In March 2014, I wrote a second letter. Again, no reply.
It took 2 tries for the BBB to get a reply out of Jeff Belzer's Kia. Their reply was that I had agreed to the diagnostic charge which also covered the reflash of the computer. Jeff Belzer Kia diagnoses vehicles that come in for repair, we do not accept other shops diagnostics for many reasons. We stand behind our repairs, we could not if the other shop diagnosed it incorrectly which happens alot. I do not know of any dealership that takes other repair shops diagnostics. We have to pay our technician to pull the codes and perform the reflash, which takes alot longer than *the other shop* spent on it. We repaired the vehicle, not *the other shop*. We feel that we were upfront about the charges and do not feel that a refund is owed.
I had hoped that Jeff Belzer Kia would agree to offer compensation for the poor service and the 6 month wait to my inquiries. After 26 years in a Teamster/dealership family, I know exactly how long it takes to pull codes, update a car's computer and how much WORK it takes the technician.
Jeff Belzer's Kia may possibly have spent more time working on the car, but they know much less about customer service, and that is very important to me. I will not return to Jeff Belzer's Kia.

I recently purchased a 2-year old Kia Sorento from Jeff Belzer. My sales person, Kara Little, was very helpful and appeared knowledgeable until I committed to purchasing the car. At that point, everything went down hill. After coming in to test drive the vehicle and put money down to hold it, I made an appointment to come back and sign the loan paperwork and get the car. It should have taken 15 minutes, but they were "backed up" so it took 4 hours. As a courtesy, they offered to fill the gas tank of my newly purchased vehicle, as it is their policy to only give you 5 gallons. When I got into the car, they only filled 2/3 of the tank.

It is now 3 weeks after my purchase, and I've had multiple problems that they have not helped me resolve. On top of problems with the window opener and gear shift, they also failed to mail the paperwork for my title/registration. My temporary permit has now expired and the state does not have the application, meaning that I have to park my vehicle in a private lot for 2-3 weeks until they receive the paperwork and process it, to give me temporary driver's license plates.

I followed up with Kara and their GM, Gary Lange, multiple times with no assistance. They do not return phone calls or e-mails, and the one time that we actually spoke, they were able to offer no assistance or compensation except a weak apology with no explanation as to why this happened. I would not trust that they are capable of executing their responsibilities, so go to a dealership that knows what they are doing.

We have been looking for a car for over six months and finally decided after the auto show we wanted a Chevy Cruze. We were not sure if we wanted new or used. We went to Jeff Belzers on Monday, April 2nd and Gil approached us asking if he could help us. We told him what we were looking for and test drove a couple of the cars. We had told Gil right away we wouldn't be purchasing that day. We would never buy same day. We decided after test driving this was the car for us for sure. We loved the five star rating, gas mileage, and all the air bags!

Gil was very friendly and understanding and did not pressure us. We left deciding we should check out some other dealers to see what else was out there used and new. Gil called the next day with a used LTZ and we test drove it. It was nice but we decided after that if we were paying that much we wanted new.

We spent the next few days looking on the internet looking and going to another location and test driving a few of their cars and seeing what they could offer us. They had a car we liked but it was a little out of our comfort zone by the time you put the tax, extended warranty and etc on the loan. So we decided to go back and take another look at Belzer's since we had seen more cars had just been unloaded on Tuesday.

We were again greeted by another salesman who I really appreciated not being pushy when we told him Gil had been helping us and we really wanted to continue working with him.

Gil arrived and we found our car! 2012 Chevy Cruz LT!!! We love it!!! We loved the service Gil offered...no pressure!!!! If we would have been pressured we would not have bought the car. We were able to take all the time we wanted looking things over and making the decision to spend the money!

Came in to Jeff Belzers to buy a used car. My sales person was Steve Charette. I told him what I wanted and how much I had to spend. We test drove a couple of cars. I did not buy that night and felt no sales pressure from Steve. The next day I received a call from Steve and I told him I would be in later that day. I just bought my second car from Tim Pretzer at Jeff Belzer's. I am the proud owner of a 2010 Dodge Journey SXT, and a 2011 Chevy Aveo 5 LS. Tim provided me with great service. My experience with Jeff Belzer's was excellent. This dealership sells three franchises of vehicles with a wide variety of choices and Blaine Dyson is my sales person. He really listened to what I wanted and what I needed for my vehicle purchase. He is not pushy like a couple of ther salesman I had dealt with at other dealerships. He is very knowledgable not only about my vehicle but what the competition had to offer. My family is so happy with our vehicle that I have already referred a close friend to him for their next vehicle. Thanks Jeff Belzer's and Blaine Dyson. I am your customer for life!

Our 14 year old ,187000 miles on it car blew its engine on Thanksgiving day and we were in a real bind in trying to find a new car. I did some online research about the Kia Soul , and found Jeff Belzer's to offer the best deals in the metro area. From my 1st phone call ,salesman Joe Alberts was friendly, knowledgable, and determined to help us find a way to finance a new car. He turned us over to Jeff Frischmann in finance who was equally knowledgable and wonderful to work with. Both guys made a tough situation easy to get through. We are thrilled with our new Kia Soul and so grateful to have had such a pleasant experience at Belzers! Thanks Joe and Jeff!

I needed an expensive repair to my car which had to be done at a Chevrolet dealership/service center. There was no sales pressure when I said I needed to think about it and shop around before I had them do it. In checking around, I found that they were honest and fair about their pricing. Once I agreed to have them do the repair, they ordered the part and everything was completed when they said it would be. They worked well around my schedule and provided a ride to work. While I will still use my every day mechanic for routine matters (they are within walking distance to work), I will definitely go back to Belzer's if I need any other it-has-to-Chevy repairs. Jim O'Meara was great to work with, very courteous and helpful. Thanks, Jim!

I tried their service department several times. They have recently expanded and have a very large service areas - that explains why their rates are so high. The first time I got very frustrated with the service, but thought I should try it again. I tried it two more times, mainly because of recall issues. I will not go back. The service personnel did not explain issues, just simply stated what needed to be done and when the car would be ready. They didn't even get that right. I was also pressured to have additional service done on my car (oil change, new tires, etc.) at the same time. I could go on and on, but I don't have the space. I feel that I gave them ample chances to prove that they were a reputable business. They didn't pass the test.

PROS: Nice waiting room.
CONS: Service personnel not personal - too slick.
