My sister and I ordered here for the first time today - delivery. \r

The person on the phone was rude/ impatient and hung up on me too early (as soon as I gave her my card info. she hung up) before I could ask her a delivery

Every time I order from Ming's Garden, I always get the Lo Mein with White Rice and Steamed Dumplings.

The Lo Mein tastes good, not cheaply made or tasteless at all. The steamed dumpling is also good because the texture of the dough is

Ming's Garden has excellent Chinese-American food for take-out and delivery. The vegetables are fresh, hot, and delicious. The meat is tender and perfectly cooked. The portions are generous. The sauces are flavorful without being too salty or too watery.

Over the past 17 years I've had more than 20 of their recipes. My favorite is their Szechuan Chicken. It's spicy without overpowering chicken or the vegetables. Consistently delicious.

Ming's Garden is a pearl in the sea of Chinese takeout. It's one of the best restaurants in St. Paul.

I wanted to like this place. I really did. It's a drag having to travel miles to University Ave. and Dinkytown to get good Chinese food. Unfortunately, after eating here, I'll have to keep on keeping on to find good oriental food.

I see that a number of the other reviewers highest praise of this establishments food is hot. Seems a little like offering the best compliment to a beer as it being cold. Who cares? Of course it should be hot, but I want good taste!

Speaking of beer, is there a hint of its taste in the sesame chicken? This weak nearly honey colored suace was nearly tasteless except for a hint of stale beer! Disgusting! The quality of the chicken used was also horrible. Very grisly.

The lo mein was no better. Again tasteless sauce.

The wonton soup was interesting in that the wontons are huge. Nearly the size of the palm of my hand, but that only led to it be hard instead of soft and juicy. And once again, the broth was boring and tasteless.

Ok, no Chinese place can truly screw up an eggroll, right? I mean I know there are truly great eggrolls. The ones that are light and flaky with flavorful fillings, but even average eggrolls are pretty good. But here you get an eggroll that is hot and crispy on the outside and filled with some indistiguishable molten mass that has no real taste, either. The best thing about it? It was smaller that any eggroll I had ever seen, so at least my suffering lasted a shorter time.

Do yourself a favor and go to any number of great Chinese places to the west of here.

I was referred by my new neighbor and I was skeptical that they could deliver not only fresh food but HOT food with sauces that hadn't broken and gotten all watery... Would you believe that I live 2.5 miles away and the food still was hot enough to burn the roof of my mouth! If you find anything to complain about

I like Ming's. Really good portions on the food. I like to pick up the food because I know it will be hot.

Cold food, got it over 1 1/2 hours later. No apologies, no discounts, no coupons. Not worth my 30 dollars. Will Find a new chinese delivery, and I'm sure there are more than a few in E St Paul.
