A friend recommended Travis to us, and we have been there several times for engine and bodywork. He figures out the problem quickly and never just throws parts at it. Most shops will charge a $100 diagnostic fee, but not Travis. I am 55 YO and never have I trusted a mechanic as I do Travis. I would have my vehicle hauled over 100 miles before I would use another shop.

A friend of mine recommended Milhausen when I had a $2000+ estimate from another shop. The work, done a couple of years ago, was fantastic. Saved me some serious cash. Since then it's the only place I'll go, and I live 25 miles away. Professional service, at a great price.

I have had work done on several different vehicles on multiple occasions over the years I've lived in this area. I've never had any difficulty or complaints with their repair quality or customer service. As a matter of fact, they've gone "above and beyond" many times & have saved me hundreds of dollars compared to estimates I received from other repair shops. Let me give a couple examples: When I was looking for a spare tire needed for our truck, the nearest one they could locate was over an hour drive away. Since one of their guys was driving in that direction, he picked it up for us at no charge. We paid the same flat price as we would have if we'd driven the distance on our own. Also, the air conditioning on our old truck recently went out. (Other) repair shops I called explained to me that my truck only takes R12 freeon, so an adaptor would need to be installed (costing over $150) before ANY SHOP would be able to refill the freeon with R134 freeon (the ONLY kind available currently). On a whim, I called Milhausen's to ask if they did any a/c work. I drove over (without any appointment) & they filled my a/c in less than 5 minutes, charging me only $25. The secret--- they screwed the adaptor on, filled the tank, and then REMOVED the adaptor. I can't believe other shops were telling me this was a "repair" needed to make my vehicle "compatible" with the R134 freeon! These are only a couple examples, a couple years ago when we were buying a set of 4 tires, they underbid MANY local shops (including Wal-mart) for the exact same tires (not to mention that you aren't "required" to purchase extended road hazard warranty & their mount & balance fee is less than half that of others). They've also come to pick up my vehicle when I needed it fixed but my infant was napping during the time frame it needed to be dropped off. I've found them to be straight-forward, reasonable and trustworthy on all accounts. This is the kind of repair shop we all need to find so we aren't being screwed over by inflated & unnecessary charges.

i have had my vehicles fixed by milhausens before but this last time when i brought my truck there i was not happy. they cashed my $3000 check and then quit answering my phone calls. i was told my truck would be done on wednesday. didnt hear anything from them so i called them on wednesday, thursday, and friday. i still none of my calls returned. i paid the $3000 for the services they did on my truck, but didnt get my truck back. i have another vehicle that needs body work done from hail damage but i am already finding another place to take it. it is unfortunate that they stole my money, didnt return my calls or my vehicle.
