I use to love this salon. The biggest issue it has it goes through stylists like a revolving door. In the past 5 years I have had 3 different stylist. The first left for maternity leave and never came back. I was then assigned to Claire who was fabulous!! I was with her for the majority of my time there. She left and I was then assigned to Cindi. Not a big fan of Cindi-she is odd, but I did like the way she did my hair and the cost was right. Anyways I totally forgot an appt, and when I called back and apologized it was totally my fault I gave them my cell number for future appointments because I rarely check my messages on the land line and always have my cell with me. We re-scheduled the appt for a week later. Now I admit in my head the appt was for 10:30 turns out it was 10:15. I'm in the parking lot and its 10:25 my husband calls and tells me I was left a message by Belli Capelli's that since I have been a no show for a second time I am no longer able to make appts with Cindi and can schedule same day appts. They never did call my cell like I asked, and I found it interesting after 5 years of loyal patronage I would be left a message saying I could no longer schedule appts. Bad customer service. Anyways it worked out for the best I'm now at Salon Kai over in Champlin and couldn't be happier!! Its an Aveda Salon and the cuts and colour far out weigh anything I ever received at Belli Capelli's So in fact I should be thanking Cindi if it hadn't been for their poor customer service i may still be going there.

I love Belli Capelli. Everyone is so good and so nice! You can always count on going in a getting a great haircut or hair color. I have always felt very confident in seeing anyone here. There isn't another salon like this! Everyone is good and it is nice to know you can count on anyone!

Pros: the best salon in andover!

The first time was great, Claire did a wonderful job, and her assistant was very nice and extremely efficient. Next time, another great job, but assistant was different, taller gal, much less personable, talked to everyone who worked there except me. Acted like I was an imposition and disgarded my questions as if I wasn't there. Claire again did almost as good a job but seemed to be caught up in this assistant and less on me, the customer. Third time I visited this time for cut/foil. Same assistant, this time she snickered and was pointing behind my back (AT ME!) and whispering to not only Claire but others as well. I found it extremely rude, and unprofessional and have not returned. It's unfortunate, because I live so close, and was trying to move my professional services closer to home instead of all around town. I may call to see how often Clarie gets new assistants and if the other one is gone, may go back. My two neighbors had the same experience with same girl and haven't returned either

This is such a wonderful environment, i have had such a relaxing time with each visit. i never know my schedule but i do know if i call in and get put with any stylist they all do a great job. i have had a number of the stylists and have been very pleased with each one! I recommend this place to anyone. !!

My daughter was just in to have her hair colored. She recieved excellent service, and I was amazed at the difference that color made on her. Her stylist was Elle and I was very pleased at the time that she spent with styling her hair and the beautiful end result!.I highly recommend this place and recommend anyone to finding this hidden treasure in Andover.

I am a new customer. I had a haircut/style and brow wax by Janelle and am so pleased with the results. Janelle (and the rest of the staff I encountered) was very friendly and personable. They are all required to have exstensive training beyond school, before they can even work on people, along with yearly training requirements. They know what they are doing!

Ive had her, and she gave me leaky foils as well. She wouldn't stop talking with her annoying voice.

I have been to Belli Capelli a few times now - it's by far the best salon I have ever visited! The salon space itself is decorated perfectly - it's hip without being pretentious, with warm colors, rich fabrics, and a fabulous waiting/sitting area with comfortable couches and chairs. They have a plethora of magazines to read (including men's interest mags), and you are always offered coffee, water, juice, etc when you first arrive. The stylists are well trained, imaginative, upbeat, and they really listen to your needs. I completely trusted that they would give me the look I was after, and they have never let me down. The stylists all do their own coloring and washing, so you're not passed off to 12 people each time you go. The hair wash/conditioning treatments are the best I've ever experienced, and they use high quality products like Pureology (vegan, and not tested on animals). They wash your hair, then they apply a hot, wet towel to the base of your neck (it's the best!), then they apply a deep conditioner (and even a protein treatment, depending on your hair type and damage) and they massage it in for a good 3-4 minutes. It's heavenly. I've never been disappointed in the color or cut that I have received there (and I tend to change my hair a lot - different colors, different styles/lengths, etc). I am blonde and wanted to add some eye-catching red to my hair, and my stylist suggested that with my complexion I should go with a purple-based red, as opposed to an orange-based red. She was completely right - it definitely made a difference with my skin tone, freckles, etc. They tell you what they're using in your hair (products like pastes, mousse, gels, etc), and why it works. They don't over-sell their products - they tell you that of the 4 things they used, the mousse, for example, is the most important (and they explain why). It's literally the BEST salon I've ever been to. Please check it out -you'll be glad you did! (They also have GREAT spa services!)

I left my stylist of five years to try Belli Capelli. Damon is great - he spends time getting to know what your likes and dislikes are before picking up the scissors. The customer service is friendly and positively refreshing for a hip salon like this! Highly Recommended!

I have been to Belli Capelli only twice, but the customer sevice and quality work of their hairartists were excellent. They treated me friendly and professionally. I was very satisfied with the results, and knew it was a great haircut when it looked great even after 6 weeks. Love the atmosphere. Very hip and trendy. I would highly recommend this salon.

I left my hairdresser of 15 years to come to this salon. The atmosphere is calming yet hip. The decorations are always creative and fun. I have never had such a pampering experience than the head massage my stylist gave me! She was wonderful. The appointment started on time, she consulted with me for at least 10 minutes(I was making a change, she wanted to be sure we understood each other). The prices are more than reasonable for a salon of this quality. I would recommend this salon to anyone who wants a great haircut with great service.

Here is an example of how NOT to run your salon. I had an appointment for 5 weeks out, called at three weeks out and changed it to a different day. Same stylist, different day. Got to the salon and was told that I had been booked with the wrong person. As you know when you need to get your hair done, you adjust. I went with the unknown stylist. I sat up front for 26 minutes waiting for this person. No one at the front desk said she was running late, I just sat. I got back to her chair and was told that even though I had booked the time for a foil and cut, this person would not be cutting my hair. I was told that she was just busy, and that I could schedule that for another time. I told her I HAD scheduled the time weeks in advance. I went ahead with the foil (why did I not RUN when my brain told me to?). The foils were done poorly, they "leaked", and she said nothing. I left (minus my scheduled haircut) and had drinks with friends. They noticed immediately that my hair looked funny, even kidded me that I must have done it myself. I go BACK to the salon and have them look at it. I am told that the one that messed it up would HAVE to be the one that fixed it. (PLEASE, are you serious?) I reminded them that this stylist was given to me by mistake. They told me that my hair really, "wasn't that bad", but they did admit that the stylist HAD to have been aware of the mistake when she was drying my hair. I told them my friends could see it in a dark bar!! They told me they could work me in between other clients (who no doubt were getting THEIR scheduled haircuts!), but I would not have a REAL appointment (what does that mean...?).
Of course I never went back (I had been a client for two years.).
Such a HUGE disapointment. I drive 33 miles now to a salon just because they know how to take care of their clients, and they understand customer service.
