I've shopped this store sporadically over the past few years due to the generally aloof attitude of the store's employees. My first experience with Archivers was the Eden Prairie Center store, and the attitudes there were terrific. Maple Grove employees seem to feel inconvenienced when you approach the check out counter, and reluctant to discontinue their own discussions to ring up your merchandise. They also seem to enjoy finding reasons to tell you "no". If you are signed up for a Scrapmania night, they will tend to appear "put out" if you come early in the day and want to craft right through the night - like you're in their way when they want to set up for the evening crop.
While the products are high qulaity, so are the prices. If I'm going to pay premium prices for product I can usually find somewhere else, I expect superior service - you won't get that here.

She started scrapbooking when our sons were born and loves the variety of this store. I am drug into here on a regular basis-lol. The supplies aren't cheap but they are high-quality and there is an amazing amount of variety. Anything she can think up and suddenly needs she can usually find there. I had no idea this much stuff existed for scrapbooks!

This is a good store to go for scrap booking, rubber stamping supplies. They have a variety of supplies for different techniques, & different styles. A good selection. They have good classes each month where you can make & take some cards, & sometimes other hobby related stuff. They send out a newletter w/ coupons, quarterly I think, so it is worth being on their mailing list. They specialize in scrap booking & photo storage. They don't care supplies to create your own photo books, because they want you to buy theirs. I wanted to make little baby photo books, but didn't find the stuff there. The prices are high on some things like embellishments, & about average on paper & stamps. They do tend to have a little clearance section that is fun to check out, clearanced paper is usually deeply discounted. They don't have as many samples, things to inspire/motivate as I would think they would have, but I get ideas just walking around & looking at what they have.

I am a rubber stamper and am priviledged to live close to Archivers in Maple Grove. They have free classes to attend, if it is on a topic that you enjoy, which is always fun. They have a newsletter that is sent out, every 3 months, I believe, where they have coupons for five FREE sheets of cardstock each month. They have a very large craft/hobby store, where you can find just about everything that you would ever need to make greeting cards or to scrapbook. Archivers have a large work room in the back of the store, where you can sit and do your scrapbooking or card making, if there is not a class going on. They have many sissix cutters that you can use for free as long as you buy the paper there. The staff are very helpful and friendly. If you scrapbook or rubber stamp, and have never been to Archivers, I highly recommend that you visit this store the next time you are in town! You will be surprised at all of the supplies that they carry. Make sure that you are put on the newsletter mailing list. Enjoy

PROS: Great craft store
CONS: None
