I ahve yet to ever leave this farmers market without an arm full of items. Usually, there is live music, tons of food and even more tons of items. My favorite are the fresh flowers/plants in teh spring and the large variety of squash in the fall. They are open every day and I believe they are open until almost Xmas. During the week, there are fewer vendors than on the weekend. A great way to spend a weekend morning!

The Farmer's market is a great way to spend a Saturday morning. You can find all kinds of fruits and vegetables and great prices and everything is always so fresh. The offer some of the prettiest fresh flower and plants and incredible prices and often times you can find specialty items such as homemade jams which are to die for. visitors beware... ...the farmer's market usually closes at twelve so you need to make sure you get there bright and early or you might miss out.

The Minneapolis farmers market has a great variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. You can find almost any kind there. They also have flowers for a great price. Most of the time there is dairy products, jams, breads, cheeses, and meat there as well.

This farmer's market is bustling with activity! The goods range from produce, plants, food & beverages, purses, sunglasses & tons of other "kitch". It's fairly large & always fun!

This market also sets up shop on Nicollet Mall/downtown Minneapolis on Thursdays during the summer - very fun break during lunch if you work downtown!

The Saturday morning Farmers' Market is a blast. I love the fresh produce (even if it is cheaper at the grocery store sometimes), I love the flowers (i only wish someone had orchids down there), I love the arts and crafts (inexpensive trinkets, and thrift oddities abound), I love the people watching (nothing beats watching a dad try and cram a loaded Chicago style hotdog down a toddler's throat), and the atmosphere is fun. Personal favorites are the guys selling bulk tamales, the Wisconsin Honey Guy, the olive bar, and the soap makers...all in the middle paddock.
