We have heard good things about this place for years and finally visited last night. What a disappointment. The "special biaggi'sitalian butter"served with our bread was such a funny thing. Olive oil with low quality parmesan and cracked black pepper. Our waiter told us "it is very easy to prepare". We had a roasted beet salad as a starter. That was pretty good. I then had butternut squash ravioli which I usually love. The raviolis themselves tasted nothing like squash but rather like almond paste??? The 11 raviolis that I received for 14 dollars seemed to be swimming in a sauce that was pretty much just butter. My husband had the lasagna. He said it was neither terrible nor good. We were on a rare date night with just the 2 of us and were seated in between 2 large families with children. We will never be back.

The service and food at Biaggi's is wonderful! Priced to reflect the quality of the food. Staff is very polite and accommodating. The only downside was the weird fuzzy stuff at the bottom of the olive oil jars!

I have been to Biaggis Ristorante Italino and had a great meal. The staff was very helpful and made our dining experience there a good one. The prices were to be expected. They had really good bread with the olive oil dipping sauces.

We found the food here to be very good and the waitress friendly and efficient. It had a nice atmosphere and was not crowded. The prices were in line with a restaurant of this quality and I recommend it.

One of the best thing's you'll notices is the sinfully delicious "Italian butter" which is a mixture of cheese and olive oil. As a vegetarian there are wonderful options here, one of the best is the seasonal butternut squash ravioli. Simply fantastic. The service is good, and on an interesting note the restaurant called me the next day to see how I enjoyed my dining experience.

The food was fine if you have never had real Italian food or if you never leave the Suburbs. It definitely ranks above Olive Garden but I don't think that is saying much. Our server didn't even know what Carpaccio was when I ordered it. He also needed help getting the cork out of the bottle. Maybe more attention to service would help. Not to be too critical because one pasta dish we had was quite good. Overall I think we will give up on Suburban dining!

Biaggi's is an awesome, delicious and gorgeous resturaunt. I love their food and they have very friendly servers. The manager is very nice as well! I had my bridal shower there this past June (2006) and their wine room is a gorgeous setting for a bridal shower. The whole staff was very nice and helpful, and the food is incredible!! I would definately recommend this to anyone who is interested in great steak and italian food.

Pros: The facility is beautiful and the food is excellent

Cons: It's is a little spendy, but definately worth it every once in a while.

My husband and I went here for valentines day. He planned the whole thing and when he told me we were going to the Eden Prairie Mall, I admit I was slightly worried. But we had a great experience. The restaurant was very nicely decorated and the booth we sat at in the back felt very private. The service was good, but food and wine were definately the highlight of the night. I can't remember the name of my dish, but it was a cheese ravioli and seriously probably the most delicious Italian dish I have ever tried!

Forget where you are and step into a metropolitan-style Italian Eatery. The restaurant is nicely done and large for a mall location. It's a bit noisy and crowded, but you'll forget that when you taste the inventive flavors from the menu (try the Balsamic Vinegar glaze!). It's "upscale" Italian, not "home-cooking" and certainly not the American "chain restaurant-style" Italian. Some dishes are generous (Marsala), others not so generous (Ravioli). The server's are happy to answer any questions you have about the extensive menu and offer recommendations. On a Saturday evening, our wait was longer, but not too long and it's well worth the wait. They have a Wine Room (which is also used for private parties), but don't expect fine wines - mostly young California wines here. Overall, I loved this restaurant, it's my new favorite in the TC area.

First visit was for appetizers and thought they were very good. Second visit was a service disaster. We were served cold food by a waiter who dissapeared until it was time to drop off the check. The manager did appologize and after reading other reviews thought we would give it one more try. Service was better but the food.....not so. Menu didn't mention that the Linguini with clam sauce also contained many, many schards of shell....a crunch in every other bite. No offer to replace unedible food. My wife's shrimp and scallops had a very strong charred flavor that we both found overwhelming and distastfull & was dry. We have struck this place off our list. Too bad...it is a charming place.

very dissapointed. The carpaccio was served ice cold, it should be served room temp. The veal scallopine was so TUFF, that you had to use a steak knife. Being born and raised in the EAST, Iknow and can cook great Itlian. This place is nice,Chef-Boy-AR-Dee works inthe kitchen.

To put it bluntly, at Biaggis you get Olive Garden prices but 50 times better food. The staff is top notch and very attentive. In fact I recall my first visit during their first week. I bumped the table and tipped the drinks over. I had more bus boys clearing and resetting the table than I knew existed. The decor is upscale but not typical italian.

I brought my co-workers here the other night for a nice dinner, so good wine, and to yes, talk business.
"Becky" was not only our outstanding server, but our "tour guide" as well. Teaching is evidently something she does professionally, and it really showed with us - we learned about the wines, the food, and what to really get from a night out for noodles. Yet, somehow, no one felt that she intruded. I LOVE THAT!
Please recognize that you have a great employee amongst your great restaurant, and many have much to learn. Salut!

I was not impressed with this place. The food for the price was not much different than other large chains. I've had better pasta at Mom & Pop-type places for sure. The ambience and service were great. They handled our large group (including a toddler) very well. Still, I would spend my money elsewhere.

This is a very loud chain restaraunt dressed up to make one think it is more. I have a distaste for help that is trained to act like they really care...but obviously often do not.

Our server didn't know how to pour my Guinness (it comes in cans here), but everything else was next to perfect. The food is great, service friendly, and there's a few vegetarian options on the menu. The lunch menu shines as EP's best quality/price value.

Went to Biaggi's last night with friend of mine for some dinner and a little talking. The ambiance was outstanding, the food was delicious and the price wasn't so overly outrageous like some other Italian places here in the Twin Towns. Overall a good place to take your family or to take a date.

The ambiance is incredible - the service, outstanding. Biaggi's had a great wine list, reasonably priced, and terrific menu, also reasonably priced. They have a couple different rooms to accomidate larger groups. Reservations are recommended - especially on weekends. It is important to note that soup and/or salad is not included with the meal - which is one reason the meals look so inexpensive. But, believe me, you don't get cheated out of food - even the small portions are large enough for leftovers. And...I suggest taking home leftovers and leaving room for dessert - the coffee and desserts are excellent!

For me, the great service was just the first part of a fantastic experience. the large menu and varying selections combined with a nice ambiance combined to set the stage for high expectations.

However, I wasn't disappointed. The Chicken Parmigian was very flavorful, the pre-dinner bread warm and crusty and the olive oil light and tasty.

And the best part of all this....this was lunch!!!

Restaurant was busy and we did not have reservations so two of us along with our son sat and ate at the bar. Bar service was friendly and effecient. All three food choices were certainly better than average and the presentation was upscale. Great spot with little attitude and good service.

On a Thursday evening the wait was 45 minutes at 6:30pm. The entryway is very cold and drafty and small. The House Salad was oily, bitter and otherwise not flavorfull at all. I ordered the Salmon which tasted great, except the entire center portion of the fillet was very undercooked. My dining partner ordered the Chilean Sea Bass which he enjoyed, but I found too "fishy". The Garlic mashed potato's were the best part of the main meal. Dessert, the chocolate chocolate cake was excellent. I can't say I would visit Biaggi's again.

Want to enjoy a lovely evening out without straining your wallet? Try Biaggi's. The food is very good from the pizzas to the pastas. Don't miss the chicken florentine soup. And whatever you do, save room to share dessert - the white chocolate bread pudding is to die for! you'll be tempted to lick the plate but may want to reconsider if you're there with a date.

Excellant pastas, the Ziti is under $10.00 and more than I could finish. If you are not a paste lover, the sea food and steaks are top rate. Family of four, with an appetizer and bottle of wine for less than $100.00!

Biaggi's takes pride in delivering increadibly unique and delicious Italian dishes and prompt friendly service to all of its guests. As an Italian cuisine lover, and food fanatic in general, I find Biaggi's Ristorante Italiano, to be one of the best Italian restaurants in which to get authentic Italian cuisine. No other restaurant in the region can compare. The service that you get at Biaggi's is courteous and knowledgable. The staff can answer just about any question you might have about a dish or which wine would go best with your meal. Biaggi's is definately a dining event that should be experienced by all!

A classy place for being attached to the mall. It would definately be a great place for a first date. I had the Seafood Rotolo and it was amazing. The waiters also double as salespeople, so if you want house red wine you need to stick to your guns. For the whiskey connesiur, try a $90 shot of the glass-encased bottle of Louis XIII.

I find it scary that people highly rated this restaurant. That's not Italian. You can get better food at Olive Garden at half the price. The food was bland and greasy. The only nice thing was the atmosphere. Also, we were the only customers in the restaurant and my soup was still served room temperature.

I was excited to hear about this place from a few friends. Actually they had eaten there and had mixed reviews. I got there 15 minutes prior to my reservation and was asked to wait at the bar. 25 minutes later I asked when my table would be ready, I kind of got a cold response, "you will know as soon as I do". Finally got a table. Service was slow and less than knowledgeable about the food. The appatizers were expensive but tasty. The salad was great. Food came in, I took a few bites and realized that the server brought the wrong meal (but said the name of what I ordered)... The food was ok, I wont go back.

Why is Biaggi's the best thing to come on the local restaurant sceen? Lets start with the first step you take inside the building. One is met with tastefull Italian Trattitoria design with a touch of contemporary feel. The mood is festive. The vivacious environment is accented with some up-tempo Louis Prima or Dean Martin playing in the background. The next moment you are met with a professional and accomodating, "Welcome to Biaggi's!" from the hostess. It almost seems scripted how well the employees work together in seamless unison. Where has this restaurant been all my life!?! If you have not tried this place you MUST as soon as you can! And by the way, they take reservations! Cheers! Matthew Post

Families love to eat at Biaggis Ristorante italiano where the prices are fair and the staff is friendly and accomodating. Coloring crayons and an act...
