Missed an appointment due to a miscommunication between my husband and I. You've never had that happen, right? When I went to bring my dog to his rescheduled appointment my car battery was dead. I called to let them know and try to be

I have been bringing my dogs to Paw Spa for over 10 years. Most of my dogs have special needs and Paw Spa always has treated them with great care. They have always given my dogs great grooming. I have alwasy been very happy with Paw Spa.

I've had my cocker, Ernie, groomed at Paw Spa for 10 years. I tried a different place for a year ($10 cheaper), but Ernie would cough for a few days after as if his neck had been strapped in too tightly. I recommend Paw Spa. The groomer shaves Ernie down exactly as I ask and treats him nicely. Their price is comparable to other groomers in the area.

Pros: Grooming done quickly to my specification

We have been taking our Bichon Poodle to the Paw Spa ever since he was a puppy, five years ago. We have been very pleased with his cut, each and every time. Even though we only take him in every three to four months, and he looks really rough, they are so sweet about not preaching to us about getting him in more often. As poodle owners know, he gets ear hair. Recently, at a visit to the vet, they commented on how healthy his ears look! With each visit to the Paw Spa, they diligently clean out the ear hair. Well done!!

I had a great experience bringing my kitties there to have their claws trimmed. I can't get them to hold still myself, but when I bring them into the paw spa, the ladies there are able to do the job- for both of them- in under 20 minutes. and their prices are really cheap. I would highly recommend Paw Spa, at least for kitty manicures!

Pros: Walk right in, no appointment, nice location, accomplish the job very quickly

Cons: none really.

My cat was brought into the paw spa to get a lion cut. He had been cut four times before by a different groomer and looked great! The groomer we previously went to moved to a new state so we thought we would try the paw spa. It took two weeks to get him in and when we brought him in the day of his appointment the groomer asked how we wanted him cut. When we came to pick him up the groomer said she couldn't control him so she hadn't trimmed his chest like we asked. When we got home and took him out of the cage he was only HALF DONE! I called back and asked if the groomer could finish him a different day. They REFUSED to finish the job and said that he was such a bad cat he shouldn't come back again. After four years of perfect lion cuts, I couldn't believe that he would be so bad that they could only do half his cut and they still charge us full price. Don't let them rip you off. Bad customer service and bad grooming...STAY AWAY!

My experience with the Paw Spa leaves me wondering if the groomer had any professional training. When I dropped my pet off, I was assured that my cocker spaniel would be given a traditional cut complete with skirt. That is far from the service received--when I picked my pet up it looked as though she was "buzzed" all over. It was the worst cut I have ever seen on a cocker spaniel. To make matters worse, I was asked to pay prior to seeing my pet and continue to feel robbed of my money for using this groomer. In addition to the poor quality cut, the groomer failed to clip my dog's nails and the cost was around $50!!!! Needless to say I will never be back there as my dog deserves better and I deserve to receive what I pay for from any service provider. I believe that if the groomer was unable to clip the dog properly, she should have at least phoned me to discuss any problems ahead of working on my pet. On a scale of 0 to 10 with 0 meaning "value your pet, stay away", I would rate this shop a 0.
